These pedestals have fixed or adjustable height. Both have a super-satin anodized-finish aluminum tube and include a 9"-diameter bead-blasted and powder coat finished base and seat mount with friction knob swivel control.
Adjustable-Height Pedestal: 14" to 20" manual adjust rise with friction knob control.
Hard anodized seat spiders come in two styles to fit your needs. Both have friction control and positive locking handles. One base has a fixed position, the other slides.

"The Lakesport pedestals are a good looking, well made, easy to use product and mount to my new Cabelas seats with ease. Fortunately the seats came with all mounting screws and bolts or I would have had to make a trip to the hardware store. I guess for the low price, they couldn't include good stainless screws. Overall a 4star."

"I haven't actually installed this pedestal yet; however I can attest to the 1st class quality of this product. Several years ago, I purchased 4 pedestals & bases from Cabela's. Two were fixed height and 2 were adjustable. I like to troll and watch out the back of the boat. After spending over $500 on new seats, I ended up sitting on a bucket in the middle of the boat because the passenger seat was too low! It was difficult to sit in the driver seat and look backward watching the lines and rods. Now with this new adjustable pedestal I can replace the fixed height pedestal on the passenger seat and adjust the height to a comfortable height to fish and steer the boat from the passenger seat while still watching the depthfinder on the dash & the rods in the back of the boat. I am anxiously awaiting warmer weather to install the pedestal, which I know will be just the ticket and a worthy addition to my boat. My boat is an 18 foot Grumman and is set up for Multi Species fishing. I can troll trout and walleye or fish drifting sideways for perch and walleye. Having this new adjustable seat will definately make me and my fishing buddies much more comfortable. Thanks, Wh13"

"I bought tghese pedestals to mount seats for my inflatible boat. The pedistals are light but very stong. Sincee I could not bolt them to the floor of my boat I mounted them on plywood plates. They work GREAT!"
