"Gas Shocks were received and installation took 5 minutes each.
4 screws in the two brackets. Very easy, They work great and now we'll see how they hold up on the water. Very satisfied with product."

"I am using the gas shock on my electronics box door. It works as advertised. I would recommend using two, one at each end. When I am traveling over waves with the lid open, there is not enough support to hold the lid open with only one strut."

"I needed to replace the gas lift on mu dock box and Cabela's is the only place I could find this model. It seems evryone esle arries other Atwood models except this. As expected - it works fine."
