"Get yourself a good pair of binoculars instead. This spotting scope has a narrow field of vision and is a pain to focus. I will give it one positive: once in focus, it's got good clarity for a relatively cheap spotting scope. Oh, and don't even think of using it without a tripod or you'll never find your target."

"I bought this to to use at the gun club during "Off Hours". I used it for the first time yesterday and it worked OK. When I was trying to see my target impacts at around 210 Yds, it didn't give me the magnification I would have liked. It works great from about 150 yds and closer. The high zoom is difficult for sighting in, but just to look for game or targets at 300 or more, it was a great buy. I will use it for those little critters that need to be exterminated!!!"

"This was a little disappointing. At first I thought it was a really good buy, but after using for a while I realized it was not the best quality. In good light without to much zoom it does a good job. As soon as you zoom up to 50-60 it gets difficult. The eye relief becomes difficult and it's just a headache at high power. So I use a tripod alot and try to keep the zoom down for clarity and ease of viewing. Low light and zoom don't work together at all. But then again, this scope didn't cost all that much either. So really the price and quality fit together."

"The scope works well but as usual eye relief is a major problem at higher magnification levels. Appears and feels to be well built, but soft case is junk and does not fit well with tripod in it's pocket and offers little to no protection for the scope. Also tripod is garbage would by a good adjustable tripod when buying this scope. Overall pleased with the scope itself but it's accessories are what lowered the scopes total score."

"I'm quite impressed with this scope. I took this scope out over the weekend and used it to view elk that were easily over 3 miles away. Barely visible (but distinguishable) with 10x binoculars, this scope made bull vs cow and calf identification easy. Though at that distance, you couldn't do trophy identification, it was very good. Excellent quality vs cost of the unit."

"I got tired of waiting to go "check my targets" at the range. I ordered this simply based upon price and the reviews I'd read. Great scope. Feels solid, easy to dial in and the case is handy. I've never used an expensive scope (I see you can pay much, much more if you choose to) but for checking my targets at the range this is perfect - clear images and easy to operate. Very nice."

"For the price you pay it is a very good scope. It does dim and get fuzzy at full power, but you can still count points at 400 yds. The case could be better designed for an easier fit, but if you put the tripod in first it's not to bad."

"Made this purchase based purely on price. It was the least expensive spotting scope available. Included carrying case is an added bonus. Carrying case could be improved by adding another pocket to carry the included table top tripod. In the limited amount of time that I have used this Trekker Spotting Scope, I am satisfied with its performance at the lower power setting. The one thing that is disappointing is the difficulty that I am having in focusing the scope at the higher zoom settings."

"The scope is excellent quality and easy to use. The supplied case is two compartment; one for the scope and one for tripod. The tripod compartment is a tight fit, so I keep the tripod in my range gear box and use the compartment for small parts like a lens cleaning brush, laser bore sighter, etc.
Overall, it is a good value for the money and I would recommend it for bench rest shooting. I feel that I got my money's worth and did not pay a high price like for the premium optics."

"Bought this scope for use at the range. At full power the image dims considerably, and the shake caused by adjacent shooters requires you to hold it with two hands. Also its' difficult to put the tripod in the "carrying case" (cheap tight fitting sack) along with the scope. Spend a little more."
