"This is of course a cheap scope. I bought it for a .22 that I bought for my wife for Christmas. I mounted it and we took it to the range to sight it in. It sighted in Ok, but then I noticed that the rings were shifting in the receiver grooves and the scope was moving back. It was also gouging up the dovetail on the rifle a little bit. I reset and retightened it, only to have the same thing happen. Later, I took the scope off and examined everything, and reset it. Again at the range the scope was moving on the receiver. Took it off again, and found that the front ring receiver mounting screw would not tighten the mounting clip. It had a problem with either the angle of the screw or the depth of the hole. To their credit, I called Tasco warranty and they sent a new set of much better rings so I wouldn't have to send the scope in. I'll update this when I get a chance to test those rings. Still too much drama for a .22 rifle scope."

"I have a Tasco 3-9X32 scope that came with my Marlin 22. Once you have this scope sighted in properly you can hit almost anything. After crankin it up to 9, I was pickin off shotgun shells at over 70 yards. Credit the gun for shootin flat at that distance, but credit the scope for showin it the way."
