nice scope for the money,

"I bought this scope for my 30-06 for deer hunting in WV. Most shots are with in 100yds in my neck of the woods. Just sighted in yesterday & have not used in the field yet, but the reviews look good. I used my Cabela's bore sighter with recticle leveler to get started. First shot at 100yds was 3" low & 2" right. Made the necessary adjustments for 1 click = 1/4" @ 100yds & my second shot was dead on. I like to be 1" high at 100yds so I moved it up 4 clicks, shot twice & almost put it in the same hole on both shots."

"I purchaced this as a test scope for my custom mosin nagat 7.62x54R rifle that gets lots of abuse. It is holding true after 100 plus rounds and is easily keyholing @ 100 yards. That includes the bouncing around offroad in my truck.
I bought this scope because of the reviews I read here. I am not disapointed. Happy shooting."

Tasco 3x9x40,

"Picked one up due to the fair price and decent reviews. I placed the 3x9x40 on a Mini 14; fits great, decent optics for the price. Only plan to use it for plinking out to 100 yds and this works great for the price. If I was planning to use for serious varmint hunting or place on a rifle shooting out to 200 yds, I would spend the extra money on the Nikon Buckmaster series of scopes. But for the price, this one is hard to beat for plinking."

"Recently purchased the 3X9 40mm and mounted it on a Marlin .22. Went straight to the shooting range WITHOUT bore sighting it in. Within minutes I was shooting X's at 50yds! Its a GREAT little scope for the money i paid. The only complaint i have is at certain angles i get a little white fuzzyness< other than that ITS GREAT! I will be getting a 3X9-50 for my .243 this week. THese are very well made for the money."

"Received the scope within 5 days of order.
Pleasantly suprised the scope came with lens covers.
Spent about an hour mounting this scope on my Marlin 22 rifle using the matching Tasco mounting rings.
After a rough boresight and final trim I am very satisfied with this purchase.
I have shot over 500 rounds with this rifle and scope combination and found my groups are uniform and repeatable.
No issues with the scope rings coming loose or the scope optics."

Great for the money!,

"Just as good as any scope priced in the $200 range. I now have 3 of these, and they are tough. I never have to adjust it, even though I check it on every trip.
I have them on 2 muzzle loaders (CVA Accura, TC White Mountain Carbine), a Remington 30/06, and I am going to be putting one on my Beman air rifle soon too. Can't beat them for the price. They zero in easily, and stay put."

"I put this one on a .22 rifle. Same as one I used a long time ago on a .270 before I spent some big bucks on a 50mm scope by a high-priced brand name. This 3-9 is way more than enough on the .22. Good field of view and clear. I'm happy with it."

"0ver the last 35-40 years i have put tasco scopes on all my rifles. the scopes i have purchased have been clear, accurate, had good light gathering capabillities at dawn and dusk and served me well. the scopes over this period of time have been accidentally dropped, fallen on and never been off more than and inch when i checcked them at the range. i would reccommend this product to anyone who wants an inexpensive but well built scope."
