"Fit almost perfect right out of the box, I just took a small fine file and relieved a small amount polymer in snug areas to get a perfect fit.Took me about 20 minutes to get a perfect fit to my Chinesse Norinco SKS."

"Installing the ATI stock is an easy task, it took me 15 minutes. The stock fits me better than the original, but for those with longer arms, you might add a one inch pad. Balance is improved."

"I like this stock, the pistol grip is great. and the quick folding butt is nice too. one of the main selling points for me was that you could still have a bayonet. The things I dislike about this stock is that the hand guard that was included didnt fit well its loose, (once instaled in the rifle it wont go anywere but it could be better.) The rifle itself is a hair loose in the stock as well, and shifts when shooting, I have heard that you can use glassbed to fill the gaps and it takes up the slack and ellimanates the shifting problem. Far as being "ultra light" it weighs as much or more then the orignal wood stock. but overall I'm happy with the stock."

SKS Ultralight Fixed Stock,November 13, 2006

"I purchased the Ultralight Fixed Stock several months ago. It was very easy to install and does not interfere with any function of the rifle.
The only drawbacks I have found were that it takes some of the weight the wooden stock gave to the butt of the rifle and eliminates it, causing the center of gravity to move forward. But this is a negligeble effect. The only other problem I encountered was that the stock has some wobble to it at the location of the joint. This was easily fixed with several plastic washers made out of a soda bottle.
Shooting with the new stock is also pretty good if you add a recoil buffer as the stock/ butt is pretty narrow. The Pistol grip also makes shooting offhand easier/quicker.
Considering that these were negligable problems and are easily fixed I really like the new stock on my SKS."
