"When the stock arrived I was not happy with the look of it at first. In fact, I was considering sending it back based solely on how it looked in the plastic bag it came in. However, I decided to try it and install the rifle into the stock. It did require some very small fitment but I can tell you I am very pleased. I would recommend this to anyone wishing to upgrade the look of their stock SKS."

"Fits the Norinco SKS like a glove. Made the SKS great to handle. Awesome accuracy even with open site shooting as this stock lets you handle the rifle just right. Also - 20 rnd. Tapco composite magazines work great with this setup."

"Fit with my Russian SKS was just what I wanted.
did have to drill hole for trigger guard tension spring (no big deal) Removed baoent and cleaning rod (wanted more modern look to rifle) added a removable 5rd clip (had to add screw to back of follower to activate last shot bolt held open feature) there is always a little fine tuning that sometimes needs to be done (not a problem at all) Exllent product!

"The stock is very nice looking. Assembly took me about two hours.
As some stated earlier, if you use a cleaning rod, be prepared to work on the front portion of the stock to allow the cleaning rod to fit properly.
Also, the supplied gas tube cover was rather difficult to fit. Removing the small retaining rivet can be a real head ache as it is VERY tightly sized into the hole. After removing the rivet, I had to work on the overall lenght of the cover with a dremmel tool to correct the lenght. I snuck up on the lenght and watched the rivet hole until it matched up properly.
The stock looks 100% better than the wooden stock.
Overall, very nice product for the $$$."

"I have the chinese model sks....was very happy with this stock it fit like a glove! I would recomend it to anyone who is looking for more of a assault rifle feel to there sks...the cheek rest is a great place to keep your cleaning tube...and u DO NOT have to remove the cheek rest to use the open sight's...i opted to get the mount and scope combo kit and the sling..was equaly satisfied with everything and now my sks look's awesome! THANK U CABELA'S! hmm......now for the bipod........"

"This stock is very good for the money. It fits well but depending on which sks rifle you have you may need to make some adjustments. It's not drilled for the cleaning rod or notched for the bayonet. You will also need to remove the cheek-rest to use the stock with the rifles iron sights. However it does add a very updated style to a 50 plus year old rifle.
Overall if you are just looking to make your sks a better shooting, newer looking, knock-around gun then I would deffinitly recomend this stock."

"I have a Chinese paratrooper SKS, one with a short barrel.
The plastic lip that the barrel seats into was way too big.
I placed the barrel in the stock and then used a rubber mallet to make make marks on the lip with the barrel. I then shaped the lip with a small rasp removing a small amount of material at a time. Fits perfect now.
Also there is a lot of mold flash that needs to be removed. I used a box knife and a small rasp and file to smooth out the areas I would be holding.
Other than that this is a great stock."

"This stock was very easy to work with and easy to install. I have never disassembled a rifle before and was a little hesitant at first. The instructions were fairly clear. I was able to disassemble and reassemble my SKS in about an hour. The only modifications I made, were to remove the sharp edges from the molding process during manufacturing. Took it out to a friends farm to shoot and everything was perfect. Great feel and very solid!!! Great experience for a first timer."

"This stock doesn't remotely fit. What they don't tell you is to use the iron sights remove the cheek rest. Forearm isn't drilled for the cleaning rod. The handguard fits too low in the forearm, fit is very poor."

"I would consider myslef a novice at taking apart a gun, however this was very easy. Very easy to follow instructions, the entire process took aprox. 30 minutes, as the handguard piece/gas tube assembly needed just a little modification-very minor. I refitted an SKS to the Fiberforce stock for my son; the added weight helps to absorb more recoil-nice benefit for him. Product is very high quality and gives the gun a very nice look."

"I just bought this stock and put it on my chineese SKS. It fit perfectly and looks great. Only problem is that shooting close range with the iron sights is difficult because of the cheek rest, but if you have a scope its perfect."

"bad stock, does not fit properly, does not allow you to take off rec cover, does not allow proper field stripping, overextends your arm ( about 3-4" from standard) which doesn't allow proper sturdiess , it shifts most of the weight forward,"
