Solid Machine,September 9, 2009
By southbay1from Torrance,Ca
"Have purchased this machine and it runs great! I have mounted it to 3/4 plywood and set it in my truck, just pull up and throw targets out of my bed. Can't wait to get the wobble base. Well worth the money."

Atlas AT50,April 16, 2009
By chitownboundfrom Chicago.
"Solid construction, very sturdy.
Have used this thrower for several years, and thousands of targets thrown. It has consistantly performed well for me.
You must get a wrench to fit the vertical adjustment, and spring if you plan on moving it around (for safety spring should be removed or loosened before carrying)
There is also a switch on the top of the trap which senses the posistion of the arm. Which can be adjusted via an allen wrench, you should keep one that fits along with the trap, as if this collar moves the trap will drop the clay too late, which will break targets, a 1 minute adjustment that I did once in ownership.
I have also contacted the company several times with brief questions regarding adjustment, phone calls get instant service, emails with in a day each time.
Good service, good product, American made."

Atlas Electronic Trap,March 23, 2009
By TforTexasfrom Texas
"Very happy with this unit. Had it a few months and have thrown several thousand birds. The foot release is worthless because you really can't get much distance from the thrower. I ordered the remote switch. A little Velcro on the stock to mount the button and you can shoot very comfortably by yourself. GREAT PRACTICE TOOL!!!!"

just quit working,October 22, 2008
By Anonymous
"I bought this product a while back and it worked great the first time. The second time. it quit working at all - would not throw any pigeions. I called the company and they said the relay must be sticking and for me to jiggle it. I did and it worked the next time I went out, but quit again after a few throws. Now its just a very expensive garage piece."

atlas trap thrower,September 21, 2008
By Robwyofrom Wyoming
"Finally got to go out and use this thrower. Amazing out of the box. Very little assembly required, very straight forward. WEnt out loaded it full of clays and launched them perfectly. The only time I broke clays was when I tried to see how many I could get out as fast as I could. Went through 5 boxes first day no problem."

Atlas Trap Thrower,September 20, 2007
By kynochfrom Edina,Mn.
"This is a terrific unit. Worked perfectly from the get go. I bought the hitch mount, the remote release unit and the target delay unit if I shoot alone. Throws the targets at least as well as the commercial thrower at my club and is portable. Had it up grouse hunting last weekend and one of my friends wants one now so we can set up a skeet style range at his cabin. Ordering extras from the manufacturer was a breeze. These guys are shooters and it shows . Delivery took four working days. I highly recommend this unit and this company."

deer slaying machine,March 22, 2007
By superhunter1from Ga
"I love this machine! I bought one and mounted it on my treestand. I use a robotic actuator to aim the system. When a deer walks within 40 yards of my stand, I simply press the remote button a few times. With over 70 clays to fire, I can rip the woods apart! I have also purchased the wobbler kit and use it as a timed feeder. My freezer is very full every late fall. Get one today!"

review of Atlas Electronic Trap Thrower,December 31, 2006
By AL45from I have lived in Southern NH most of my life
"I bought this last spring, the box on arrival showed some shipping damage, and the switch which controls the release (mounted on the top of the trap, were the cam is) was smashed, however, I was so impressed with the overall quality, I found a replacement switch and installed it! When I notified Cabelas, the manufacturer immidiately sent me a new switch! I should point out the switch is tricky to set and will drift out of position with time,it is I think, the only weak component on the trap, since you can spend considerable time tweaking it in,and since you have to throw birds while you do it, it is a little expensive, Atlas should use a better, more adjustable switch and package it (the trap) just a bit better to preclude this type of damage.
However,it is an excellent robust product,(excluding the switch)and I would recommend the purchase to anyone who wants to shoot anytime in a realistic manner, without the need for another person,or to increase the enjoyment of several people at the same time, it is a great product, since everything else on it is bulletproof."

Great trap,November 17, 2006
By Steve1from Colorado
"This is a very well made trap. Worked great right out of the box. I bought the do-all trap first and sent it back after spending hours trying to make it work. This is well worth the extra money!!!!"
