"These couplers work great so long as its for the factory magazines. They fit very tight and will not accommodate any type of aftermarket magazine."

"Between 2 30-rounds aluminum AR-15 magazine, it slip's when I'am loading the magazine with a lula strip loader. I have tighten the screws so tight, that I think it will break someday. It's made of synthetic plastic material."

Worth the Money,

"I bought my CAA AR15/M16 magazine coupler so I could have 40 rounds ready to go for home defense. The adjustable screw lets you clamp the magazines tightly, but won't dent or crush mil-spec aluminum magazines. It also works with Israeli Orlite magazines."

Well made,
July 8, 2008
By JDPinWV

"These are nicely made and hopefully they hold up over time.
They are light plastic and I can't tell at this point if that will be a problem. They fit well and have no sharp edges like the metal ones I have from another manufacturer.
They hold the magazines tightly."

At the ready,
June 13, 2008

"I had a real SNUG fit on the two "Orlite" Israeli mags that I used. You really need to be careful putting them in place. Once in I tightened the two screws with some added insurance of Blue #242 Loctite. I work a lot with my AR's. There's a good bit of vibration thru out this weapons platform. The added weight is not really a factor if one see's the benefit of more rounds down range. Like that I won't need to be feeling for the next mag to reload. Be sure to stagger the mags slightly. If they are even, the mag on the right side will hinder your dust cover for your bolt. This will also make the magazines not want to drop freely from the mag well. Hope this will help you out. Many thanks goes out to all our Veterans. May God bless all of them and The U.S.A."

Magazine Coupler,

"The description on your website said nothing about what types of mags will work with this product. None of the after market mags like MAGPUL PMAGS, which are currently the mag on the market, will fit in this coupler. It was a waste of money on my part."

Mag Coupler,
February 19, 2007
By jporlier
|
"While deployed in Iraq, I carried one of these couplers as my initial load on my M-16. it worked great in the fact that I could reload very quickly and always had 60 rounds instantly available. The only draw back that I had was due to the spacing I had to store the system in a triple mag pouch which would reduce the amount of ammo i could carry by one full mag(30 rounds) so as an initial load it works well but if you burn through both mags in a firefight then its bulky and tricky to store expediently."
