"Very useful for hunters that are new to African game. The structure of African game animals is sufficiently different from their distant cousins in North American where this guide is essential. Though written for the gun hunter, the anatomical drawings will give a bow hunters what they need."

"Great little guide for not a lot of money.
I recently hunted Africa taking Kudu, Warthog, Impapa Gemsbok and Cape Buffalo.
The guide gave me confidence in my shots, especially the Cape Buffalo.
The professional hunter told me in the last 10 buffalo hunts he had had only one, one shot kill. He can now say 2, a frontal heart shot. Just like the book illustrates."

"Very nice pocket reference. My only complaint is that they did not have multiple view of every animal denoting their vitals. However, still worth it. Buy the full edition too!"

New Printing Fits in Pocket Better,

"I already had a copy of this book and bought one for my hunting partner before we left. It is a great reference for shot placement. Most African game's vitals are significantly farther foward than American game and it is easy to gut shoot them. The book's line drawings of vitals remind you not to shoot too far back. Also the new printing is a smaller book and it fits in a pocket better than the old printing."

"If you are going to hunt in Africa, this is an absoulte must! The heart lung area of African game is in a different place than North American game. Also there are many different antelope species to hunt with different body sizes and this book makes hunting easier.
The artist rendering of the animals bone structure and heart lung position is excelent."
