"Black Hills ammo is great looking and reliable/consistant but it won't work in the Walther PPK-S. The profile of the tip of the bullet is slightly longer than the Walther or aftermarket clips will accommidate and it hangs in the clip. Might work OK in other 380 autos."

"Bought a box of Black Hills to shoot in my new FNP-45. Almost every shot resulted in a jam. Also had Winchester .45 JHP 185 and some Buffalo Bore .45 JHP 230 that all fed flawlessly.
Needless to say I was very disappointed with this performance as were my shooting buddies. I won't be seeking out this manufacturer again."

"The Black Hills 9mm 115 gr. JHP EXP is great stuff. Not a big fan of factory ammunition, but got some for carry work, and was very pleasantly surprised.
Usually factory ammo is half as accurate as mine, but I'd be very hard pressed to outdo this stuff.
I bought the Black Hills, due to it was lower priced, and I have had good experience with their rifle ammo. First shot went square in the center of the target at 10 yds.!
Very very good performance and power. Also tried .45 ACP with equal results. It's stout but not overly so, just what you want for defensive ammo. Function is flawless. Will definately be ordering more!"
