Bullet Puller,
October 19, 2009
By MatieA
from Wyoming
|
"This is an excellant tool for removing the bulet from the brass; inserting the cartridge into the collar can be interesting until you get the hang of it, but it is still an excellant tool and does what it is advertised to do -- pull bullets."

"It work like a charm. Didn't lost any powder. If you have a lot of bullets to pull, you might consider a puller that fits on your press. Might be a little faster. Other than that, I recomment it."

"Purchased this puller to unseat handgun bullets. If your really patient and like to pound on things it can keep you amused for hours but, there are much better pullers available from Cabela's .Spend a little more for a press mounted puller."

"This product works after you figure it out. It took me a while because I am a beginner And I have noone to show me the ropes. The directions were terrible and of no use. I would reccommend this to a friend only after I showed them how to use it because once figured out its simple"

Save Your Money,
August 12, 2009
By Jack2U

"I tried to use this thing right after receiving it. It is an absolute piece of garbage. Tried to use it to pull a 223 Remington round and the small collet was too large. Tried the x-small collet and it was still too large. Save your money and buy a name brand puller!"

CABELA'S BULLET PULLER,
August 3, 2009
By OKIE69
from OKLAHOMA
|
"Works;;;; But takes a lot of work after you get the cartridge in the collet it takes a LOT of hits to move the bullet. It would be much better if they would chamfer the hole in the top of the collet so the case did not catch on the collet while being put in. Once you get the cartridge put in to pull it really gives your arm a good work out.
IT WOULD BE BETTER WITH A FEW CHANGES.
E. W."

By ENDS
from FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR, CENTENNIAL, CO
|
"I HAVE HAD BULLET PULLERS BEFORE, BUT THE GREATEST THING ABOUT THIS ONE IS THAT IT COMES WITH FIVE COLLETS. I ONLY HAD ONE COLLET WITH MY FIRST ONE. I CAN PULL BULLETS OUT OF 45 LONG COLTS WITH THIS AND DOWN TO 223, NO PROBLEM. YOU WILL LOVE THIS THING. SIMPLE TO USE AND TOUGH MATERIALS."

"This has worked great the times I have had to use it.
The collet system seems a little weak but don't use them.
Simple and easy solution is to use a shell holder for the round you are pulling apart."

Cabela's Kinetic Bullet Puller,
June 16, 2009
By bulletmaker
from Nashville, TN
|
"As with any new project come some mistakes, I'm no different. I have used Cabela's Bullet puller to help me fix my reload mistakes. This puller works as advertised. I have unloaded about 20 -30 bullets and it works great. Quick, easy, and strong. I hope I don't need it much more but if I do,I know it will do the job. Used to unload bigger magnum rifle and handgun rounds."

works okay,
April 29, 2009
By indianaguy
from Indiana
|
"I used this to pull about 200 old 7.62x54r bullets over the course of 2 evenings, and had no real problems. It is important to tighten the cap after EACH hit. Also, you need a solid surface to hit against. Simply placing a pine board on a carpeted floor will leave you frustrated, whereas hitting an anchored piece of hardwood will work wonders. Would rate it higher, but it is fairly cheap and flexible, and it would be easy to break the cap or the rubber bands that hold the collets together. Overall, I am satisfied and would buy another if I needed to."
