"This trigger is a necessity for any Marlin centerfire lever action rifle. Installation was not complicated,however, it does require knowledge of disassembling your rifle's action. Reduced 100yd group sizes in half in my 1894c. Highly recommended."

"I have been shooting my Marlin 1894 Cowboy Limited in 45 LC for the past 9 years. I shoot Cowboy Action every month and fire at least 100 rounds a month with this rifle.
I replaced the stock Marlin trigger with the Wild West trigger. Installation was relatively easy and requires disassembly of the action.
What a difference! The famous Marlin trigger "flop" was gone, replaced by a no creep crisp breaking trigger.
I shot a match after installing the trigger and was able to cut my long range rifle target misses down from several to none. If you have a Marlin, you need to buy this trigger!"

"I put this on my Marlin 336SS, what a great improvement to the feel of the trigger. I am not a major gun person, beyond cleaning my gun but I decided to try and install this myself and had it done on the Marlin in about 30 minutes, could have been 5 minutes if I had done this before. I just took my time keeping track of screws etc. and dropped in the wild west trigger. The feel is so much better, it felt like the stock trigger was 10lbs to pull, this is definitely a great improvement. I found the intructions for breaking down my gun on a forum so that helped out.
Thank everyone who continue to leave feedback on Cabelas products. I find these feedback items very valuable to my experience shopping at Cabelas!"

"My factory 1895 trigger started out just a hard 7+ pound pull but over time had gotten increasingly creepy. It had developed one distinctive stop-n-go catchy place and I could tell the creep hurting my accuracy. Coming out of the box, the Wild West Trigger looked very well made. I had never disassembled the action of the Marlin 1895 but after reviewing the schematic that came with the gun it was pretty clear what to un-do to open the action. nothing flies loose or anything like that. The lever that holds the hammer spring takes a second to figure out. It not only holds the spring in place but also serves as an un-loading lever during disassembly and as a re-loading lever during re-assembly. pretty slick. I took an hour to carefully change the trigger and do a thorough cleaning while I had the action apart. Back together, the Wild West trigger has none of the flop the stock trigger had. it has zero creep. it breaks crisply at about 3 pounds. What else can a guy want? Wild West delivers just what they promise."

"This trigger was VERY easy to install. It literally took me about 4 minutes to remove the old one and install the new one from Wild West Guns. WOW!!! What a difference! The trigger pull on my Marlin 1895MXLR in 450 Marlin is now a break-glass crisp 2 pounds. This new trigger is a one piece unit where the factory Marlin trigger is two pieces...............no more annoying trigger 'flop'. My 100 yards groups were cut in half - after all, a good trigger is worth its weight in gold! I would recommend this product to everyone who owns a levergun. You are doing you and your rifle a disservice by NOT getting one."

"Product is as advertised. The installation was very easy, took about 15 minutes to complete. My Marlin 1895SS had a pretty good trigger before the installation. Now it compares to my customed tuned trigger on my Remington 700 BDL. I am very pleased with this product and will install the WW trigger on my Marlin 1894C."
