"Purchased this for our 2003 Jeep Liberty. Since we fold our rear seats down to haul our skis, we also ordered the extension as our labradors are keen on hanging out up front any chance they get. The extension works great at closing the gap created when the seat is folded down.
Barrier/extension installed quickly and we used black electrical tape to secure bars from sliding. Not the nicest finish, but considering the price we are very pleased with the value and function of this barrier."

"I had previously used the Dog Barrier in a Chevy Tahoe which was recently replaced with a minivan. The Dog Barrier by itself did not fit in our Dodge Grand Caravan, so I had shelved it for almost a year. Finally I took a chance on the extension (the reviews/details I read on it never stated it would work for a minivan) and it worked really well. I'm extremely happy with the results. Not sure if anyone else will use the Dog Barrier plus extension in a minivan, but it works great for us."

"I bought this product for my '04 Chevy Suburban. I have the barrier installed behind the 3rd row, and it fits perfect.
After a month of use, the product works great, my mastiff (150lbs) and boxer (75lbs) have yet to budge it.
However, the individual barriers slide in and out so that it fits any make or model of vehicle, but the barrier does not have anything to lock these sliding parts in place, including this extension. After a few bumps, especially around corners, the sliding parts move out far enough that they touch the windows and make for a terrible rattle.
I'm either going to drill pilot holes into the metal sleeves and install screws to hold the slides in place, or put pieces of foam on each of the six ends so they don't hit the window so hard. Other brands do have these thumbscrews installed already, but the price almost doubles.
The price is right, but the product could use just a little more work. I would buy again though!"

"We got the extension to provide another lower barrier on the basic dog barrier, without needing the height extensions. It worked perfectly, as we have a big dog that "hairs" on everything. This way, the inside of the Commander stays clean, in tandem with the Husky rear floor liner. A worthwhile purchase for large SUVs and large dogs."
