Must Have!,November 6, 2007
By FlatsProfrom Clearwater, FL.
"As an aspiring Charter Capt in Florida catching bait is key to a successful day. The Calusa net is soft, supple and throws like a dream. Catching Snook is tough enough don't let bait be an obstacle before your day even starts."

6' Calusa 1/2" Net,October 2, 2007
By BuggsLakefrom Buggs Island Lake Virginia
"I thought I was buying the best, but it doesn't throw any better than the cheapest 8' I already have. Don't waste your money on this net. My biggest complaint is the hand line is to stiff."

Coming up short,July 6, 2007
By TonyPittsburghfrom Pittsburgh, PA
"I actually have no way of telling if the Calusa Cast Net is good or not, because there is no way to tell how it should perform. It comes in a nice, snap-lid, bucket and looks great, but there are no directions enclosed! As such, I have no way of knowing if it works as it was designed to."

Quality?,January 11, 2007
By Pete1970
"Ive never used or owned a casting net but I thought Id spend a bit more and get a net that will last for a while. A frim believer in you get what you pay for. So I bought on the higher end. I recieved the castingnet on time. When I opened the bucket I was kinda shocked to see the netting material was so thin. My first impression is this net may not last too long. No instructions included either, but there are webcites to learn how to throw one. Four stares based on quality at this point."

Great Cast Net,November 20, 2006
By snookinfrom Lititz, PA
"I tried to throw a cast net for a 1 or 2 years , but couldn't get it to open and lay flat. My first 2 nets were in the $ 40 to $ 60 price range. I bought this net, read the instructions, and in an hour was throwing like a pro, you get what you pay for, this net is worth every penny. I have the 8' net and it opens and lays flat."
