Assist hooks have a short length of flexible braided fabric that is stronger than monofilament of equivalent diameters. The braided fabric is attached to a solid ring by means of a simple looped connection. Assist hooks are commonly used for vertical jigging to increase hookup ratios.
Tin Assist Hooks have an obverse barb, corrosion proof tin construction and are easy to attach.
