"I purchased these swivels several months ago but didn't recieve them until just recently due to them being backordered through no fault of Cabela's. When I received them I found that the black finish seemed to be a spray paint that didn't completely cover the entire swivel leaving some shiny areas. I don't know if it was the black coating's fault but the swivels weren't free spinning. The thickness of the wire used in the loops varied from one swivel to another. Lastly, the price really was for a high quality chain swivel which the two packages I received were not."

"The swivels work alright but they lose the black coating after the first couple of uses. Loss of the coating allows them to tarnish/rust in salt water."
