MotorGuide's Tour motors are tough and mobile enough that you can fish aggressively and quickly adapt to changes in structure and shoreline. And, with the Digital Guardian™ speed module, you can get even closer to the fish and stay on the water longer. Digital Guardian is a self-contained, sealed module in the lower unit that controls speed and monitors vital motor components in one protected location, eliminating the sonar interference commonly associated with analog circuit boards. Digital Guardian monitors your motor's amp draw, heat dissipation, output and other vital parameters. The result is a motor that self regulates, providing a cooler, quieter, more efficient running motor over an extended-service life. The completely sealed module is impervious to heat, moisture, corrosion and shock.
A raised, lighted directional indicator on the all-metal head shows the way at night from any angle. The tough, metal foot pedal has variable speed control, and the two-cable, pull-pull steering reduces torque for effortless handling. An extruded aircraft aluminum Gator Spring mount with spring-return breakaway feature delivers strength and protection up front. The rigid stainless steel column permits torque-free steering and extended corrosion-free use. Sonar ready models have a transducer built into the lower unit for cable-free sonar connection, so you don't have to worry about messy cables and clamps, or interference from your trolling motor. Each also has a built-in weed ring and durable Machete® prop.
