"I bought the small boat anchor system to use for my jet ski's. The first day that I used it, I pulled the anchor in and one of the four prongs was missing. Too light weight, not worth the money."

"Great looking product. Great case, etc. One of the four tines fell off the first time I put it in the water. I have a friend with same experience wth this same product. This anchor is a good idea with shoddy manufacturing. I regret the purchase."

"I have a 14ft boat with a 20hp. When I used this anchor it would do a good job of slowing me down if the wind was really whipping but never held me steady in position. May work great with a smaller boat. Also, you may want to get a longer rope. the rope provided is only like 20-25 f."

"Overall well made, nice system. I found the size to be a little bit large and heavy for my purposes (kayak fishing in medium to small waters) but for rougher locations or larger boats it would be a good choice. I think it would have done a good job in my 16" aluminum boat under most conditions I was in."

"It is very difficult to find small quality anchors that will do the job. I am anchoring an 'Avon' type inflatable that requires everything in minature because of room issues, thus, this anchor exceeded my expectations - its quality far far exceeded what I expected. Recommend it highly."

"I have had this about a month, it is working out great. I'm using it on a 15' Old Town Camper Canoe, it is more than enough to hold me even in a stiff wind. Great anchor, nice rope. You do want to be careful when dropping it between structures (logs, large rocks, etc) with the leafs deployed, as it is sometimes a chore to get it back up again."

"I recently purchased the small baot anchor system for use in my Sea-Doo jet boat. I like the small size and the fact that it folds and fits into a padded bag so it won't be rattling around or scracthing my boat. Also something not stated in the catalog is the fact that it is made to fit into the onboard storage canisters that come standard on a Sea-Doo. Have used it twice so far, and am very happy with it. Would be nice to have the same thing that comes in a few pound heavier version."

"Very useful anchor for a canoe, guide boat, or other small craft in shallow water with light winds. Only real drawback is that the rope is pretty short, but of course that can be easily extended. Packs nicely in a supplied padded bag, and can be deployed with the flukes closed ( no wind condition or in thick weeds ) or with the flukes extended for better grab. They're cheap enough to have two, which can stabilize both the bow and stern of your craft for perfect position for fishing and such."

"Reasonably priced, this little anchor is plenty to hold my 14' canoe tight in moderate current or wind. The way the anchor folds up is great, and the entire package is about half the size of a loaf of bread when in the stuff sack. The float on the end of the rope is a nice thought for if the line ever breaks from the boat."

"I bought this to replace the mushroom anchor that wouldn't hold bottom. I still have to use the mushroom anchor in areas with a lot of snags as this anchor can be a chore to retrieve after it sticks to a log. In mud and sand this is my goto anchor.
It sets and holds well without letting out a mile of rope."
