"Use it for pushing a fiberglass Arthur Armstrong 14' duck boat around in grass filled log riddled lakes. Works great. Prop cuts through vegetation and rids itself of clingy stringy aquatic grass. I would recommend the longer 42" shaft if you like to stand in your boat while driving and picking up/putting out decoys. otherwise you will be stooping over alot. Sturdy built."

"The motor made too much noise and what ever was causing the noise restricted the motor from running in Low Reverse. Minn Kota, located at Mankato, Mn. would not let me exchange for another at their plant but would rebuild. Contacted Cabelas and they let me exchange it for another. Had other Minn Kotas in the past and have been happy. Think this was just one of those times where I got a lemon. Thank you Cabelas for the exchange."

"Great little motor for the price. Pushes my 12' aluminum fishing boat w/ gear just fine. Controls work great, simple for even the kids to operate. Telescopic handle is great but would be improved w/knuckle on handle to allow it to collapse and store easier when tilted out of the water."

"This is an excellent motor and good value. I put it on my ten foot bass boat and headed out. It is very easy to use, and has plenty of power. I like the built in handle extension, and easy tilt adjustment feature. I would highly recommend it this motor to anyone."

"i bought on a year ago and it was good for the first couple months then the 3 reverse started not to work and then the 2 forward. the mount which is transom is cheaply made and were you change the tilt on it, it breaks really easyly. but if you want a piece of none good thing then by it if you want. i would not recomented for any one. with trolling motors you get what you pay for."

"My wife and I are more than happy with the Minn Kota Endura 50. We have an inflatable boat and wanted a quiet way to explore the many lakes up here. There is almost no noise and sneaking up on critters is easy. Several times we have hit hidden rocks with no apparent damage to the Endura. This is a great product and surpassed our expectations."

"the only comments I have for a potenial buyer are that you should be aware of is that the transom mount is a composite plastic rather than metal. and that the 5 speed thrust control is not really proportionate between going from one speed to the next especially going from 4 to 5. Otherwise a excellent choice for a pontoon boat"
