Matzuo Treble Hooks - Red Chrome

This treble hook boasts the power and strength you need for a replacement hook for lures. "not as strong as I would like. Hooks bent from fights with lingcod. Great color that does attract strikes. This product would be great in a heavier version."

Matzuo Treble Hooks Hook and Hold, March 7, 2008

"I've been using the Matzuo Sickle Treble Hooks for about 3 years now. I started using them on spoon blanks that I painted or taped myself. Now I replace the standard hooks on my small spoons with one size bigger Matzuo Sickle Treble and the bigger spoons with the same size. Almost all of my spoons have red Matzuo Sickle Trebles on them. The rest have the black chrome Matzuo Sickle Treble. I also replace the hooks on my cranks with them. Putting a Red Matzuo Treble on the front and the black chrome on the back and middle if a three hook crank. These hooks are sharp and really hold well."

"Lake trout bite more readily if your lures have red hooks on them. It was hard to find LARGE treble hooks in red locally. It was fast and easy to get them from Cabela's!"
