Wading belt - life saver,

"I bought this for two reasons. To help my back after hours of wading and for safety.
Day one in Alaska I slipped crossing a stream where it fed into the river. Since I had the wading belt on my waders only filled from the belt up. I was able to get my feet under me and avoid being pushed under and out to the river only a few feet away. The belt may have saved my life!
We fished 12-19 hourd a day with the long days in Alaska. I was the only one not complaing about a back ache. The belt worked great."

"What a RELIEF! I fished all day and not once did I have to strecth out my back. Prior to this unbelivable back support I would be bending and strecthing after 1 hour, not anymore. If you have any back issues this is for you! I find my self wearing it around house at time when my back is acrting up. Go for it you won't regret it!"

"This is one of the best products I've found for supporting your back during long days in a pair of waders. These belts are highly durable and provide ample support for long days out on the river. I also use mine while paddling a canoe and have been backpain free ever since I found the belt. Thanks Cabela's for not only putting useful products out there, but also for providing much needed equipment to make my days on the water more enjoyable!"

"Nice, comfortable wading belt. Way better than the belt that came with my waders. Good support for long hours piking. I am 5'8" about 165lb. I ordered a medium, but I think a small would have worked better. Great belt for the price."

"This belt is definitely a good thing. It supports your back on those long days of fishing. It also acts as a safety belt in case you go for an unexpected swim. I liked mine so much that when my wife complained about her back being tired while she was fishing with me, I ordered one for her. I will say that they run a little big, and there is a large adjustment on these. My waist is somewhere around 40" and the XL is too big for me. I would most definitly recommend ths product."

"The wader belt has a nice design. It is very comfortable and adjustable for clothing layers, best of all the velcro is soft side out so it doesn't tear up my wading jacket like my last one.
A good idea for your back that might even save your life."

"Not quite what I anticipated. Held up the waders ok, but really didn't offer much support for the back. If you are wearing any layered clothing under the waders and wrap the support over this clothing and the waders, the back support actually loses its supporting function to the folds and creases of the clothing. Didn't really help me, although its presence did serve as a constant reminder to me to remain upright and not to slouch. However, I think its function was to be more than a reminder."

"Recently purchased this belt for wade fishing and absolutely love it so far. I've only used it one time since receiving.I was out for a 9-10 hour period with no lower back pain at the end of the day.It will get a good test very soon as the fishing season will kick into high gear here shortly."

"I rated this 4 instead of 5 Only because the attaching velcro is to long. The belt definitely reduces fatigue in the small of my back. It also is much safer than the elastic belt that comes with the waders."

"Frankly, I was sceptical that the support belt would help relieve the back fatigue that I experienced after a day of trout fishing. I was plesantly surprised to see how well it works and I wear it every time I get on the stream. The belt is light weight and stays in place."
