Secret Weapon!,June 15, 2009
By Alphaboatfrom Vancouver, WA
"I started using the Berkley Gulp! Maggots and my catch rate on Kokanee this year in SW Washington state has gone WAY up. I have had several people come over to me at the end of a morning at the boat ramp to ask me what I was using. They had noticed me out on the lake catching 3 to their 1. I don't believe in keeping secrets and showed them my Gulp! maggots. You can bet they were all running home to go on line to Cabelas to get their own supply of my new "Secret Weapon" These things work GREAT!!"

"Not very good at all by themselves but may possibly add a little benifit by tipping a jig or lure with them...Not as good as the Crappie Nuggets though"

Berkley Gulp! Waxies,March 1, 2009
By basshunter247
"These little things are awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You can catch anything from bluegill and crappie to bullheads and largemouth. I have caught 9-10 pound channel cats using these and the big largemouth seem to think that they are candy! These are very good for spawning bass and big bluegill. I've only tried the chartreuse color because of the wonderful results with it. I have used these for quite a while now and have had unbelievable results. If you are a panfisherman that would like to score a few lunkers, get the Berkley Gulp! Waxies."

Excellent,January 29, 2009
By Anonymousfrom New Jersey
"This is an excellent product. I use the earthworms for fishing with my daughter. I've caught trout, crappie, and bluegill on this bait. Its well worth the money and just one can will last a long time. It lasted me a whole year because there is probably 150 worms in that little can. If your fishing with kids its excellent because you dont have to go get fresh worms everytime you want to go fishing."

maggots,May 10, 2008
By TRAVIS903from Kanses city,MO
"The maggots are great for catching anything from small palm sized bluegill to huge bass, but they work the best with crappie. The crappie will eat these up if they feel like biteing. I would definitly recomend these to a freind!"

Awesome!!,March 23, 2008
By ajyl53from North Central Ohio
"I took a jar of maggots and redworms when I took my grandkids fishing last year. Not only did they stay on the hook longer than live bait, they really caught fish. It's hard to find a day that we're all free, so conditions weren't ideal but we had a great time catching crappie, bream, and even a couple catfish. I was able to enjoy myself more because I didn't have to keep rebaiting every time one of the kids mis-cast. The baits worked so well, I used it the next outing with my buddies. Easies five bucks I ever won. Now they use them too."

deadly combo,October 19, 2007
By WormSlingerfrom West Virginia
"After a rain when the water is a little murky try drifting a redworm tipped with a chartruse maggot , this deadly combo has saved my hash many times. The maggots are my choice under the ice as well. The corn not so good, have yet to catch a trout on the stuff."

better than waxworms.,June 17, 2007

"Off my dock I casted for sunnys using a jig and bobber. The gulp maggots worked better than waxworms because they gave off more scent and stayed on the hook longer. These are awesome."

Good, but not quite as good as the original...,June 4, 2007
By steelydeaconfrom Cleveland, Ohio Area
"These fake maggots are nice for sweetening a lure when you don't have the real thing available, but they don't have quite the fish appeal or the toughness of real maggots. They are much easier for small fish to steal, and wear out their welcome with fish much faster. Good in a pinch, but use real "spikes" whenever you can get them for real success. Real maggots drive fish crazy, no matter how often they are presented!"
