gig,June 25, 2007

"It seems to work good but I am using it to gig flounder not frogs. First the good then the bad: It is very sharp, has very good barbs, and is well constructed, but it is much smaller than I had thought. I am having a hard time finding a pole to mount to it that is the length and thickness I want. If you are walking and not giging from a boat it would work great. I still use it when walking but had to find a much bigger one to use from the boat. All together it is a good product but just not what I wanted. I wish I would have seen the tine length before I bought it. Good product just not heavy duty enough to lift a 5 pound flounder or bigger out of the water and get into the boat. It is what it is."
