constructed of Pittards® full-grain leather from England, which undergoes a special tanning process to
produce exceptional durability and waterproofness. A 100% waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX®
lining combined with special moisture-wicking lining will keep your feet dry during the nastiest weather
and peak exertion. A shock-absorbing EVA midsole and a removable footbed cushion your steps, while
a padded collar and tongue comfortably support your ankle. Continuous lug outsole grips challenging
surfaces. The Goodyear welt construction facilitates easy resoling. These boots also are ASTM C/75 I/75 certified, so you know your feet will get maximum protection. Average weight:
3.2 lbs./pair. Men's sizes: 8-14 medium and wide widths. Half sizes to 12.

"I work in contaminated site remediation/clean up so water-proofness is critical for the life of the boot. Comfort next, safety (steel toe) and support as a matter of course. After a few days' break-in the boots are holding up very well and it looks like they'll make it through a year with no problem (after that they'.ll get replaced, whatever shape they're in). I would've liked a loop on the back to help pull them on, and the upper part of the tongue could be wider to wrap the ankle more and cover better the rivets on the inside of the top (for my pronated ankles -- I have a callus there now that does the job just as well...)
Very good boot, as good or better than any of the many I've had and I'd buy them again, but perhaps consider the high-top version."

"I love the boots but the eyelets eventually break on the inside and then the laces get chewed up in a matter of a couple months. It gets tiring buying laces continually. The boots themselves are very comfortable, I have no problem wearing them all day at work and then standing up & watching a high school football game at night."

"this is the second pair of 7" outfitter series boots I have purchased. Break in easily and wear well! Standing on concrete all day is tolerable in these boots and they breath pretty well. I am sure i will be getting a third pair."

"Had to get some steel toed boots for a rush project.
I didn't buy the "cheap" ones as the reviews said they were too stiff.
Can't imagine a boot stiffer than this one.
They do seem very nicely made, but for occasional wear I think a less expensive boot would be better."

"I have tried about 10 different work boots in my life. Some are good, some are bad, but the Cabela's Outfitter Series is by far the BEST work boot I have ever worn. I work in the oilfield where boots can be ruined in a few months. The sole is oil resistant. When I climb 20 foot metal stairways that are covered in a film of crude oil, I gotta have an oil resistant boot, and the Outfitter Series is as good as I've ever had. These boots are also incredibly lightweight for a steel toe boot. A pound on your foot equals 5 on your back and these boots are the lightest boot I've ever had that gave good support. When it comes time for new work boots, the Outfitter Series will definately get the nod. Also, I'm so pleased with these work boots that when I need new hunting boots, I'll be getting the 9" Outfitter Series hunting boot. You absolutely will NOT be unsatisfied with these work boots."

"It looks like the boots are made fairly well, but there is not enough padding on the inside around the steel toe. If you wear heavy socks then it is not too bad. The tongue is not long enough either. When you tie the boots at the top the laces go behind the tongue. Also, the padding around the top of the boot is not very comfortable, should be thicker."

"These boots are great for all weather conditions. I have two pairs, one for work and one for hunting/fishing. Very durable witha comfortable fit. The boot laces are not as strong as I like, (I like my boots tied tight), they break within the first month, but otherwise a great product and I would recommend it to anyone. I will definiatley be getting another pair."

"Cheap made, did not fit my foot right. Made my heal feel like it was going to come out when i would walk. It was also like walking on wood. Just not comfortable, wouldn't recommend to anyone. "This is the Best wearing pair of work boots I have ever bought. They did not even require a break in, I put them on and began wearing them daily. This is the second pair that I have purchased. The first pair I wore for about 2 years before I had them worn out and even then they just needed to be resoled. Doing the kind of construction work that I do, for boots to last two years that's really good. I bought a pair of Red Wings after my first pair wore out but, my feet hurt and I found myself wearing my worn out Cabela's. So, after not being able to find another boot in comparison to this one I ordered another pair. I liked this boot so much that I also ordered it in a boot without steel toes. I would Recommend this boot to any Construction Worker."

"i sent these back after trying them on,you could feel where the steel toes begin and it felt like you were going to step out of them every time you took a step.it just felt like there was no contour in the back of the boot which let my heel rise and fall with each step i took.just didnt fit my foot very well."
