"I replaced a broken guide on an older rod. The Fuji was a similar style but a little bulkier, and certainly not as sleek as the guides on some of my newer rods. Seems to work well and a cheap fix for an older rod. I bought the whole set to have some spares around."

"Myself and a friend both had broken rod guides on a couple of our favorite rods. We easily removed the old ones and attached these new ones with thread and a little epoxy coating."

"These guide sets are inexpensive and seem to work quite well. I fish almost every day and cast thousands of times a week with no guide failures. I use only braided line which some anglers consider to be harder on guides but I see no ill effects and I probably have 40-50 of these individual guides on rods that I'v built or rods where I have used one or more of these guides to replace OEM guides that failed. Good value in my book"

"I have used the Fuji Hardloy guides on a number of different rods I've built and Im very happy with them. I used very exspensive guides thinking I was getting so much more out of them, but was turned onto these by my Dad who has built rods for 30 years now. I tried them out and found they have worked great. They are fast, smooth, and light. Sure there are lighter out there, but these will and have done the job just as well as any other. They manage to stand up well if banged around also. If color isnt a huge issue, give'em a try, you won't be disappointed."
