"These are only available in size large which relly is only suitable for med-large saltwater flies (where proper pliers would suit better) or the largest of streamers & poppers. They are well-made and if that size suits you, go for it, but they are way too big for most freshwater applications."

"What more is there to say than that these work exactly as advertised? They make retrieving a fly from a fish's mouth (or throat) easy, and I know I've returned a few fish to the water in good shape because I used the hemostat. It's one of 3 or 4 essential pieces of gear that hang on my vest every time I wade into the water."
