Horrible instructions,

"The instructions are absolutely worthless. Good thing the product is fairly straght forward to install. Looks like it'll work just fine for what I need but I can see myself throwing the included velcro and rubber straps away someday and just using bungee cords."

"This took me awhile to figure out how to mount to my 3 wheeler's rack then I found the bolts were too long to mount to the rack.
For the trouble and time wasted a piece of carpet and my tie downs are quite a bit easier to use."

"This is a good product, I inadvertently sold my last four-wheeler with the brackets on the rack, so I was forced to buy another one, after purchasing another four-wheeler.
Easy to install and adjust with a few hand tools. The directions aren't the most complete I've seen, but the product is a good one. After installing this one and the other one, it was pretty easy to know where the brackets needed to be, correct angles etc.
The only improvement I can even think of to suggest would be something different with the velcro straps, they are hard to use with gloves, maybe a tab or strap redesign.
Otherwise a great and useful product, and beats just trying to use the utility gun racks or letting the expensive auger fly around in the fish house."

"Does not work well at all on the front rack of Suzuki Eiger. I did get tit mounted to somewhat work, but was more effort than it was worth to get the velcro straps on.
Directions are very poorly written and pictures are worthless."

"I installed these on my new honda trx 500,was not bad to put together an to install.i have a jiffy 10 in. auger,took some time to get the auger to fit in the front two wing grips but got them to work an think it will work just fine.i don't like the velcro straps tho think they will wear out fast,but i have to see.but wont be bad to replace velcro straps. bolts were a bit long,i just cut them off.good luck to all you fisher men FISH ON"

"I have mounted the carrier on my quad and it seems to hold the auger securely however I have not field used the item yet. Mounting takes a bit of time. It would be better if the brackets had a quick release system so that they could be taken off and on as needed. Also the picture shows the ice auger being held on its side but my racks are to narrow so I had to mount the ice auger on edge."

"Used to haul the auger in 2 pieces. Now it can stay together.
Mounting posts are designed well for versatility installing on a variety of racks. My Honda has a small odd shaped front rack and it took some time positioning and aligning the mounts to the auger handle design, but once set up and the auger is strapped on tight, it seems to be a solid useful mount"

"Their engineers might have graduated in the top half of their class but the technical writers, I'm not sure. I am still trying to figure out how this thing goes together. The instructions need improved and iIt shouldn't be that hard with a few diagrams that are legible. It would be a simple and inexpensive process."

"Good overall product. Mounted it on the front rack extender of an 08 Sportsman 500. A bit of a pain to get my 10" Jiffy Model 30 to fit properly with the angled handles but after a little effort (20 minutes) I was done. Should work well, and I can still use my rear rack bag for storage. Only thing I'd change is finding a better solution than the velcro to hold the handles on the auger head."

Flimsy auger handler straps,

"Sent it back the same day I received it, and ordered the Mad Dog Gun holder (two V shaped holders instead of the auger handle brackets with velcro straps on one end). I will use bungee cords to secure my auger in the gun rack. The auger handle holders just seemed to weak, likely to wear out quickly."

"i mounted the product, somewhat of a pain to mount, on an 04' suzuki eiger. it fit great, and my eskimo 10" auger fits perfect in it. it rides so well, that i leave the auger in the mount on the four wheeler, when traveling to the lake. overall a good product, would buy again."

"I have a Eskimo Shark auger and foudn it doesn't work will with my style of handles. Very poor directions for installing.
However, does hold it pretty secure."

"I assembled in about 1/2 an hour. Looks good. I know it will hold the auger nicely going over the ice and I even to plan to leave the auger on the 4 wheeler while on the trailer over the road, it holds the auger that tightly."
