"For this price, I expected a nice quality cardigan. It's not. The wool is thin and nappy after only one wear. It's cut too short and is a full 2" shorter in the back than the front. This is a big disappointment and an overpriced, cheaply made product."

"I got this cardigan to replace an old, worn-in-the-elbows wool watch sweater that I couldn't part with. Now I wear my cardigan every day. It is warm, and comfortable, and it has pockets (my watch sweater didn't) and elbow patches, so they won't wear out. The zipper is great too; I can put it just where I want so I'm never too hot or too cold. I couldn't be more pleased."

"I purchased one of the zip cardigans a few years ago. It had a great cut, great fit, and nice thick wool. I decided I wanted another color and was very diappointed when I received the item. The cut was not nearly as good as before, loose and baggy around the waist, and the material was much thinner. Sadly, I returned the item. Please make 'em like they used to be."

"Unfortunately, after years (and several hundreds of dollasrs) of buying very satisfactory products from Cabelas; this sweater did not meet my expectations. Years ago, ( 10, perhaps more) I purchased a "commando" sweater from Cabelas, it has proved to be the most comfortable, warmest, and most durable sweater that I have owned. Based on that experience, and on the general design and description in the current catalogue, I thought I was purchasing a similiar garment. Instead, this new sweater is constructed of lighter material, a more loose knit, and a windflap over the zipper that is a bit "rag-like", with very little substance. I did wear the garment on a recent trip to the Antarctic, and it did look good, however, did not perform in cold windy weather as I had expected. That being said, I will not "throw the baby out with the washwater", and will continue to purchase product from Cabelas, based on several years of very successful dealings with that firm."
