"these shot great and kill deer just as well. My dad and I have drops 4 deer we shot and the other 6 when 30 yrds at the most with a 2ft wide blood trail. tryed lot of other slugs and none kill deer as good as these."

"I have found only lead sabot bullets work on deer out to 200 yds and are still devastating. Winchester supreme no loner makes a supreme slug in lead sabot. All copper solids, silver tips, gold are a waste of money. I have seen a lot of deer lost to these so called higher speed bullets. Until they come out with a slug that can go over 3000 ft per second I will stay with lead on deer it always knocks em down instead of poking a small hole in them.
I was a loyal winchester customer for more than 30 years. I am now switching to the light fields."

"My Stoeger 2000 with it's rifled barrel, a Tasco ProPoint Red-dot and these sabots are all I will use for whitetails. One shot - one kill. The animal is down before it hears the report. I bought enough boxes to assure I'd have these slugs on hand for many years to come. I have three excellent hunting buddies who feel exactly the same way. This shell is worth every penny. Spot on at 100yds."

"Shooting this out of a h&r 12 ga bull barrel, 3 inch group at 100 yards. Shot a deer at 147 yards and the deer walk for four steps. You have to love it........."

"These slugs shoot okay. The best group i could get at 50 yards with a soild rest was about a three inch group. There are other shells ive shot that shoot much better but maybe these shells will shoot better out of certian guns."

""I've been using these rounds for 4 years and have harvested 3 bucks (8,9 and 10 point, all of good size) and 6 does over that time. None of these deer ran more then 30 yards after being shot. I'm hunting with a single shot NEF bull barrell 12 gauge, and a 3x9 scope.
50 yds = +1.0"
90 yds = +2.5"
140 yds = 0.0"
You will agree, well worth the extra couple dollars when your not having to spend hours tracking shot deer."

"These rounds worked the best on the setup I have(Winchester 1300\with Sabot tube). I recently went on a hog hunting trip to Texas.These rounds performed above all expectations. I took two hogs and basically dropped them in their tracks.Thank you for such a great round."

"I've been shooting rocks for years and routinely saw double lung shots run 100 yards or more routinely. Leading on a running shot required 4-6' lead at running targets within the short range they had. That was until starting the rifled barrel and the good stuff. ./.. This stuff shoots patterns of 2" on my Benelli M1 at 100yds and minimal rise at closer range and minimal drop afterwards allowing much flatter trajectory from 50-150 yards. tremendous expansion with devastating shock damage comparable to light rifle calibers but bigger wound channels and * shaped exit wounds. looks like it hurts a lot if the whitetails were'nt dead on their feet when hit. Dont forget to practice the running targets to re-adjust your lead. If it were priced less - I'd be buying by the case."

"i have been using this sabot for 3 years now killing deer out of two different shotguns, first was a mossberg 500 killing my biggest buck at about 40 yards. there was blood all over the place, deer made it about 50yards and piled up. My current shotgun is a NEF single shot rifled heavy barrel, currently sighted in with a good 2 inch grouping at 115 yards, i would feel very comfortable taking a shot at this distance. good luck and thanks winchester for making such a great shotgun sabot."

"I have tested seven different brands and types of slugs in my rifled barrel 870 12 gauge shotgun. The Platinum Tip slug is the most accurate. I get 1.5" groups at 100 yards with this slug. By comparison, I have had some slugs groups at 8" at 100 yards. I plan to use it on later this year on a Washington elk hunt that is in a "shotgun only" restricted area."
