"I never thought I would pay so much for underwear! BUT, when I wore this out hunting, I knew it was worth every penny!!! After a long hike to the blind, I was sweating, which usually means a COLD morning. This shirt wicked the moisture away and kept me warm all day! "This fleece is great! The power dry is exceptional for all sorts of activities. I am an avid outdoorsman - skiing, hiking, hunting, and fishing etc. I have owned the bottoms of the expedition weight for years and loved them. They keep you dry, warm, and with low weight, what else do you want. They feel great next to skin and dominate in cooler and colder environments. I needed a base/second light layer for my hunting expeditions. Since this was in camo it fit right in and knew it would perform. I wear a base layer underneath it (even though you could wear it as a base layer itself) that controled my scent and this over the top; then one other fleece layer. It worked out great. I wore it with my base layer and hunted in it during the warm day time assults in the dark timber. I finally took my first Rcky Mtn elk with a bow and this really helped me stay on the chase of the bugling 6x6. Weather you are covering a lot of ground chasing the bugling bulls or hanging out in a treestand for the whitetail, I highly reccomend this shirt and at the price you can't go wrong. The sizing fit me well, I am a slim fit at 5'8" and 135 lbs and like i said if fit a tight base layer underneath the Meduim. Some of the other review say to up size if you are concerned but I did not have a problem. Hope this helps in your decisions. ENJOY"

"I bought this piece as a base layer for hunting in cold weather and was amazed at the fit, comfort, and warmth. Went back and bought another Polar Expedition top for casual winter clothing. Does what it claims and a worth the price. I bought my first off the sizing chart but it was to tight for my comfort level. If you are in between a regular and a tall I would get the tall if you are doing a lot of bending at the waist."

"Excellent product, little pricey but warm buns are worth it. The material is very unusual but works great. The fit was right on, I am 5' 9" 175lbs so I choose a large top and med bottom. Fits just right, not too tight, not loose. I suppose a guy has to have a couple of these if your hunting for week, otherwise your buds will be sitting on the other side of the fire."

"Living, working and playing in the north I have been experimenting with different base layers since I can remember. The search is over, this shirt is awesome. It has the warmth and comfort you expect fom fleece and close to the wicking ability of polyprope. Get this layer in camo and you have a garment you can wear as your only layer on your way up the mtn. and then layer over when you get to your treestand and not have to sit in your own sweat. Also excellent for high energy output sports such as downhill-cross country skiing, mountainerring, ice climbing, etc."

"very comfortable, the zip down neck is great. But not as warm as i would have hoped. I took it out of the package washed in scent free soap, wore it out the next morning in 12 degree weather and I got pretty cold after sitting for four hours. Once you start moving around you warm up right away but not what I had hoped for ordering something that said polar on it."

"I decided to try Cabela's warmest set of thermals after trying other premium brands. I was not dissapointed. This was meant for long periods of sitting that I experience ice fishing or long November days in the blind or marsh. They fit true to size and did not cling or compress. The 1/4 zip feature is benificial for letting some of the heat out, when necessary. The fabric has a soft feel, even after putting on another couple of layers. This is a fantastic product and will be purchasing a second set."
