"a great everyday carry knife. very durable, with good looks. it fits well in a large hand, and has great heft in the handle for good control. my only complaint is the average steel material used for the blade. i would like buck to offer this design with 154cm or even s30v, but it is a classic design that serves well."

"Have used the Buck 110's for 20+ years.Have used them for everyday use,not just for cutting, but prying with them,using them for screwdrivers etc.Still have one thats about 20 years old,the holster it came with is still good,very worn but just getting broke in.No other knife comes close to the Buck 110"

"My father gave me this knife when i was a kid, and i gutted and skinned my first deer with it. i love it and even though the steel is somewhat lacking in comparison with more expensive knives i still use this knife in the field because of the classic styling, the rugged construction, and its history. i will give this knife to my son one day and he will use it on his first deer. I could say that having to sharpen it before each season is a "drawback" but i enjoy sharpening knives and once you learn how it only takes about 10 min. and is kind of a fun way to start the hunting season a little early. if you want the best hunting knife money can buy prepare to spend big$, if you want an heirloom that will be passed down, buy this knife."

"I purchased my Buck 110 in 1981 to help work with my horses. That same knife is still 100% original still sharp as the day I bought it and still looks and feels good. It is the only knife I own that I trust my life with. I have fished, hunted, and worked on the ranch with this knife. It has saved lives of several of my horses, and has never failed to perform when asked to, even in the harshest of condition. Every outdoorsman should own this knife!!! Don't waste your money on anything else. You won't be disappointed."

"It is strong, has a blade that is easy to sharpen to a razors edge quickly. I use mine for fishing, camping and around the farm. The ONLY thing that I don't like is the brass tends to tarnish easily on the handle if not careful, but I still give it a 5."

"I own a Buck 110 that a competent knifesmith put a seration from base to just below midblade and converted it to an automatic opening (Switch Blade) if ever I need to open it fast with only one hand without without compromissing it's regidity. The locking system has not been altered as far as I know, never... have I come across any folder (owned by me or others) have proved to be as ridgid as a Buck 110! Edge retention integrity is incredible, and yet it's easy to re-touch or hone back to an 'out of the box factory' edge! Rust/corosion resistance is a Godsend. And all this in a folder that's as tough as a fixed blade."
