"I hope I never need to use this EMT gel, but am prepared in case of a dog injury. I keep one in the truck and one in my hunting vest or dry box when hunting.
Read the other reviews from customers who have needed their EMT gel for a dog injury. Every dog owner should have this on hand!"

"I've used this EMT gel on my dogs and my horses. It works great to seal up bad cuts. I always have a tube in my first aid kit and I've just ordered my next tube. It is very handy. I usually clean the cut thoroughly with saline & cotton balls, then add some triple-antibiotic ointment, then apply the gel. The gel will seal the cut so you want to be sure to have it cleaned out because whatever's in there will stay in there once it's sealed. I've never had to make a second application, it works the first time, every time."

"dont go afieid without it, at some point you'll need it and it won't do you any good three miles away in the back of your truck. works on both injured dogs and cut up hunting buddies with equally effective results. i've used it several times on both and refuse to be without it!! get a tube and keep it on your person whenever you're out of sight of the rig."

"I have had the opportunity to use the gel on a broken nail on my female lab mix. Stopped the bleeding immediately and formed a protective "patch" until it could heal. I also bought the spray."

"My GSP pup cut her paw while hunting in Kansas this past November. While I still had to let her rest for a couple of days anyway, I have no doubt that the EMT gel prtected her paw from further injury and hastened the recovery."

"My german shepherd dog cut herself on the inside of her rear leg at the hock. This was a deep wound that gape open about 3/16 of an inch was near a joint and was 5/8" in lengh This type of would should have stitches. I decided to heal it myself and for the first 5 days it did not change. So I ordered both EMT gel and EMT spray and used the gel at first and in 3 days you could see the difference. In 5 days it looked really good. After using the gel and spray for a week and the spray the second week I no longer needed anything on the cut The cut has healed beautifly.
I will never be without EMT gel or spray and recommend this product be added to your dogs medicine chest."

"This product saved my shorthair today. She somehow got a deep puncture wound in her leg while hunting. There was so much blood, I could not locate the wound. I pulled out the tube of EMT Gel and started smoothing the gel over her leg. The blood flow slowed immediately and I was able to see the punture. I put more EMT on the wound and it quickly stopped flowing. At that point, I was able to use the first aid kit I carry and bandage the wound. I had to carry her a mile back to the truck. By the time we got to the vet, my dog was going into shock. There is a very happy ending to the story primarily because of the EMT Gel. If you hunt and don't carry this product in your pocket, you will eventually be in deep trouble. I always have EMT Gel with me in the field. This is the second time I have had to use it and this was certainly the most serious event."

"This is a great product for those small cuts and abrasions you hunting dog can get from barbed-wire--thorny bushes and anything else they may encnounter in the field. Stops bleeding fairly quick so you can get your dog back in the field fast."

"I highly recommend this product for anyone that has a gundog. It works great for those small scrapes and dings that dogs get while out in the field. I've found the best results using it with some sort of dressing over the wound when possible. If allowed to dry it will work fine without a dressing also. I don't travel anywhere without at least one tube of EMT Gel in the dog's supplies (I have two Yellow Labradors)."

"My English Setter suffered multiple wounds pheasant hunting this fall. I used EMT gel after I returned home and all her wounds were healed within a week. In fact I suffered a bad cut in the field and had the EMT gel in my coat and used it on myself until I could get home. It stops bleeding within minutes! Great stuff!!!"

"As an avid hunter and labrador breeder, I have seen accidents happen to my dogs when we are training or hunting and the EMT line of products are a MUST HAVE to keep your dog healthy and heal fast. It curbs the bleeding from minor cuts and abrasions and seals the wound for proper recovery. It is only fair to take care of your hunting companion the way he takes care of you and your game."
