"This really works great!! I use it when sighting in my two 30-06s and my 7MM REM MAG. It does reduce the recoil significantly allowing me to concentrate more on my groupings without as much flinching from the recoil."

"The stock butt for my new Savage rifle is hard solid rubber. Before I ever fired it I knew I needed extra padding. The Limbsaver goes on easy and provides extra cushion on the shoulder area. It also provides a good cover to protect the stock from scratches."

"These Slip-On's are great! I'm on my second one - a small for a Rem. 600 and a medium for a Rem 742. They really slow down the felt recoil. And, you don't have to go to the expense of having one fitted to your stock by a gunsmith. You really have to experience the patented Sims design to believe it!"

"I bought one to expel some of the re-coil of my wife's S/W 20 ga. I got her to try it again and her shoulder wasn't sore! I liked the improvement on her gun so well that I bought 3 more for my shotguns. Very nice product!"

"I've used half a dozen different brands of recoil pads and this is by far the best. I have one on each of my rifles now. My 13-year-old son used my .30-06 for around 40 shots without complaining about the recoil. Even makes my .375 Ruger fun to shoot. So long as you choose the right size for your gun they stay in place, perform reliably, and really cushion the blow. I use high-end scopes with relatively long eye relief so the extra padding doesn't cause any problems."

"I purchased this for my Turkey hunting shotgun. The slip on recoil pad fit well. No problems with it slipping off etc. It does it job in regards to dampering recoil.
I have an old school remington semi auto that is a hand me down from my father in law. Beautiful accurate, shotgun. But the stock is as hard as cement. Shoot 4 rounds and your shoulder is bloodshot. This coming from a guy who is 6' 225lbs.
Using this pad did help damping recoil and definetly saved my shoulder from bruising up. But lets face it. No rubber pad is going to make that much of a difference."

Learned the hard way...,

"I bought this product after shooting 20 rounds from a brand new, unpadded .308 Rem 700BDL. My shoulder was sore for a week. With the Limbsaver, my next 20 rounds from this rifle was much more routine. I wasn't thinking "ouch!" before the round even discharged. My groupings were a heck of lot better, and my shoulder was a happy camper. Great product."

Tames the 45-70 Mule!,

"I own an H&R Buffalo 45-70 Classic. Its powerful, its accurate and kicks like a mad mule on steroids. I love large bore shooting and hunting, so I always accepted the pounding as the trade-off for shooting what I enjoy. Then, while at the range practicing for an upcoming Boar hunt, a gentleman arrived on range with the same gun but only with a Limbsaver recoil pad added. I watched him shoot and then his son shoot and there wasn't a hint of a flinch I expected having run the pad gauntlet before. After about ten minutes of chatting and sharing hunt stories, I asked to try his rifle, a perfect twin to my own with. It was like shooting my M-14. I ran home and orderd a Limbsaver for myself and now I'm enjoying a whole new dimension in big bore shooting. The aspirin and heated rub companies are bumming, but my shooting is more enjoyable than ever. THANK YOU LIMBSAVER!"

"All I can say is awesome product!!! This has tamed my Winchester model 70 lightweight 30-06!!! It was a very very bad mule before putting this on!!! Just took it out on the family shooting trip and all my family were able to enjoy the -06. My 12yr old and my wife had a blast with it......to show how good this product is.......my wife said that the 30-06 was the most fun to shoot and cannot wait to go back out to shoot it..........Great product.............if you are on the fence about it.....get off it and go buy this!!!! I have been told by my wife to go purchase one of these for ALL my guns!!!!!"

"I bought the "large" model; it's an excellent fit on a Weatherby Vanguard with a synthetic stock. I fits my Maverick 88 12ga as well, but it's a little big. I have a Pachmeyer Decelerater that I've used on both firearms; I prefer the Limbsaver for both felt recoil reduction and looks."
