"I bought the LimbSaver Replacement pad for my Ruger M77 Mk II in 7mm Rem Mag. The existing pad was the typical cheap, hard-as-a-brick plastic junk most manufacturers use to save money. After installation and a little touch-up, I went to the range and fired a box of Hornady SST's without the first flinch. Muzzle jump was much less and my 100 yd. grouping came in with 3 rounds fitting under my pinkie finger. This recoil pad takes all of the flinch factor out of shooting more potent calibers. Felt recoil on the 7mm was less than with my .243 Win. Since then, I have installed some Sims pads on guns for friends including a .375 H&H Mag and a .3oo Win Mag with the same results. Great Product!!!"

"The guns you buy come with a hard rubber butt stock that do nothing to dampen the kick. This LimbSaver fit perfectly and is soft and takes away around 15% of the kick. So, with my Comp n choke and my LimbSaver, my Browning Silver Stalker 12 guage feels like I'm shooting a 20 guage with 2 and 3/4 shot shells. Hunting is a pleasure and I feel no pain after shooting all day."

"My marlin 45-70 had the factory butt plate and was a real bear. I was only able to shoot 4-5 times daily before adding the limbsaver. Now I can shoot all day, no problem. I purchased the mod. that is meant for Marlin 336- It is not a perfect fit but very very close."

"I have a Mossberg 500 12ga and some slugs make this baby kick! I can normally fire about 10 slugs before I call it quits from a mixture of discomfort and loss of accuracy because of my discomfort. No longer! I fired 15 slugs today, only because I had 15. I could have fired 1,000 slugs, it wouldn't make a difference. My shoulder feels like it would on any other given day! It fit perfectly too, and was really easy to install. It didn't add any length to my gun, and it was more comfortable than the factory recoil pad! I'm going to encourage all of my slug gun friends to buy this! It seems expensive for what it does, but it is worth it, don't skimp out on lesser quality knock offs and don't think that it won't really make a difference, because it does! Thank you LimbSaver!!!"

"I purchased this pad for a remington 700 BDL. I gave it 4 stars because it fit very well just not perfect. It was slightly to narrow at the top but again a good fit. In my opinion, and excellent solution for both decreasing felt recoil and increasing the LOP when replacing the stock butt plate."

"The difference between the factory "recoil pad" (if one could call it that) and the LimbSaver is night and day!! I am EXTREMELY pleased with the reduction of felt recoil. Target re-aquisition used to be very difficult after the shot with my 7mm mag. NOT ANY MORE !! Would confidently recomend (and already have) to anyone with recoil issues.

"The recoil pad is all it's supposed to be however it didn't fit MY rifles stock. MY Remington ADL 700 was made in 2003 and has a CURVED laminated wood butt-stock. Limbsaver does not make a dirrect replacement for this rifle. I used this one on another hard-hitter and it works great! IF you have a Remington 700 with a curved wood stock, the only outfit that that I found that makes one for it is Pachmayr."

"I have two of these. The pads fit well and does an excellent job of absorbing recoil. The problem is that after several months the surface of the pad becomes very gummy and sticky. It sticks to everything from clothes, to carpet to leaves. Do not leave the pad in direct contact with anything you are unwilling to leave a residue of gummy rubber on, especially carpet. Also beware that resting the butt on the ground will pick up a coating of leaves, sand, etc."
