"I love the Browning BPS, but it has possibly the cheapest & least durable magazine system found on a shotgun. The cheap plastic mag follower wears out quickly and the magazine spring is virtually impossible to keep rust-free. When it's time to replace them, the only aftermarket game in town is the SRM Kit... I've put them in both my wife's and my BPS now. The down side: I don't know where they get the dimensions for the mag follower, because it's so oversize you couldn't pound it down a BPS mag tube with a hammer & punch. Both I bought required a good hour's worth of careful grinding before they finally fit, which is ridiculous particularly given the price of the kit. On the plus side: once the follower is ground to fit the tube, the system is a big improvement over the factory spring, follower, and plug. The stainless steel spring is rust free & stronger than the factory, and feeding is sure. If it weren't for having to do major grinding to get the follower to fit, I would give the system 5 stars but as it is, I can only give it 2..."

"I ordered this for my Browning BPS to replace the terrible plastic factory stopper that falls past the stops & won't allow for the ejection of the last shell without manually pushing it back in. The spring & aluminum plug are good that's the only reason for a two star rating, the aluminum follower is useless. Had to go to a machine shop to have an aluminum stopper made that works correctly. The stopper would hang up in the magazine & doesn't fall all the way to the bottom as it is suppose to. Called the manufacturer & the person that could answer any questions was out & left my number with the person I talked to, to get a call back from someone who knew what they were talking about, but of course no call. So I just paid & had a stopper that would work machined. Need to sell just the aluminum plug & stainless spring seperate as the follower was useless."

"I have Beretta 3901. Stainless steel spring and aluminum follower were good, the plug basically was useless. Spring and follower should be sold separately. Otherwise it performed as advertised."

"The plug in this kit was too short, allowing me to load three 3" shells in the magazine tube in my Benelli, allowing it to have a 4 shot capacity. Game wardens get a little crusty about that sort of thing."
