"Great item! Easiest goose call to blow. I have had a Glynn Scobey goose call for 8 years now and last season it finally gave out on me. Purchased 2 for the up coming season and they sound great. Love to shoot the goose. These calls should take care of me for the next 8 years!"

"This call was easy to blow right out of the box. It has a great low end plus a great high end. You cannot blow hard into this call otherwise it will not work. I havn't tried it yet, but i doubt it has the range on windy days for those distant migrators. Great call to learn on and will turn geese. Glynn Scobey also has a top notch guarantee on his calls."

"When I got the call I opened the box as everyone would and gave a little toot. I was surprised how easy it called out and I mean easy you don't have to blow hard at all. This does not mean a good thing. I thought it would be loader by this I mean IF you blow too hard it doesn't work, you need to blow easy to get results.
So it is not a bad call and I do use it but if you want to get out far to in coming you might want to go w/ a different call."

"Great call, easy to use and makes a very realistic throaty honk - main season hasn't opened yet but I've been talking to some birds flying over my house. Way better than the Eastern Shoreman flute I bought from Cabela's last year...
Only possible drawback I can see might be that it takes two hands for the best most realistic calls."

"I recieved this call two years ago, and I love it. I mastered in a handful of afternoons. It makes very realistic goose vocalizations. It takes VERY little air to make it work. This outstanding call should be in every hunters blind bag!"

"This is a great call for anyone. I'm a beginner, with little to no experience. As soon as I blew this call, I knew I wouldn't be using any of my other calls very often. It's so much easier to use than the others, and sounds quite a bit more realistic. And for the price, it's definetely worth it. I'll be buying Glynn's Arkansas style duck call next. I know I won't be disappointed."

Great Beginners Call...,

"This Glynn Scobey goose call is an excellent entry level call. The low growl is already built into the call so it takes very little manipulation. You do not really need to growl into the call to get the low end sound. It has a natural high pitch sound and geese do respond to it. If you do not want a short reed or a flute you could use this and save lots of money. I think the Scobey is worth the price.

"I love this call very much. I use it all the time. I drive my wife crazy when I hear geese flying across the backyard I run out into the yard and use my call to try to call them back to me no matter the time day or night.
A friend and I go hunting two to three times a week and I always use my call and have about 95% success. I love it and would recommend it to anyone. Thanks"

"using this call for the 1st time, I was able to bring in 14 "resident" geese that I have been having a lot of thouble just getting them to call back. Sounding a hailing call only two times ,to my suprize, brought the flock streaking fast direct to me even thou I was standing in an open field of 80+ acres!!
Desiding not to shoot and seeing if this was just luck, I waved them off to see them land about 400yds. to my southeast. I waited only 15 min. and tryed again and the geese took to the air instantly and headed to me again about 30 yards in the air. This time I lead a 13lb. goose with my 1187 and took it with one clean shot. looks like thanksgiving dinner will include roast goose this year!--- good job Glynn!!!"

"I want to say that theGlynn Scobey goose call I purchased from Cabela's was been great. I have bought several from a local store , do to them being at the "RIGHT COST", but after having to buy so many because they would not work half the time that is when I decided to try a good one no matter what the cost. Im so glad that I did! Word to the wise if you are buying calls from somewhere else you are making a big mistake. I learned my lesson! Thanks Cabela's for making my hunting experience better, with no worries of a falied call!"

"After using the Glen Scobey Goose call, there is no need for any other call. My Dad and I hunt in the finger lakes region of NY and have had massive success with this product. We even ordered Glen Scobey Reeds to replace our other goose calls! The call is easy to use and worth the money. We started with just one call, but then bought our 2nd after opening day of the September season when it only took the two of us 45 minutes to reach our limit (8 birds each)!"
