My goto call!!,September 10, 2009
By Johnny29from Albany, NY
"I just recieved my Short Barrel in cocccbola wood. It is by far one of the best and easiest calls to run. I have no problems, whatsoever, with sticking. It has not stuck once!!"

Great tone!,August 21, 2009
By wade43from Lake Charles, La.
"This is a very good call, but I agree, it does stick a little on the feed chuckles. Do not "ramp up" the air with this call! The guys at RNT were right when they said that little air is required to blow this call. If you're used to blowing a call as if you were standing in the middle of Stuttgart, then buy the RNT original. The short barrel is flat out nasty on the bottom, though."

"Great sounding call that does it all. I put chapstick on the reed to keep it from sticking. RNT guys are great at answering your questions via E-Mail."

Typical Rich-n-Tone,July 4, 2008
By hardluck71from Louisiana
"Great call. Just like any R-N-T call. It is easy to blow, easy to tone and can go from high to low in half a breath. I would have a lanyard full of them if I could afford it."

Great call,February 3, 2007
By DKDKGSfrom SE, WI
"This is my new go to call!!! Soft and refined with a little rasp, and good medium volume. I got the call in wood, and I liked the sound better than the acrylic I tried. Also, if you know how to operate a duck call, figure about 2-5 days of practice to get the sound you want."

Holy quackers,November 23, 2006
By shootduxfrom Madison, WI
"This call has to be the best looking duck call made! I don't know whether to hunt with it or hang it over the mantel. Looks great, easy to blow, and super ducky at low or high volume. You can't ask for more. It blows great wet, too-no squeaking."

great call,November 20, 2006
By Zaraspookfrom Dallas, TX
"This is my second RNT call and only have high praise for them. Great ducky sound! It does take a little practice before you can really make it work for you but before long you'll sound more like a raspy old hen than ever."

close to the perfect call,November 19, 2006
By buffinator
"This could very well be the perfect duck call. Can be loud if needed, but its strength is soft and nasally duck sound. On most days, this is the only call I will use. A great finishing call."
