"My recent purchase of a Big River Long Honker Goose Call turned the tide on a recent hunt. It was quite obvious that it's perfect tone was responsible for bringing in flock after flock. My two other calls were quickly tossed back into my pack and the entire mornings hunt relied on the results offered up by the Big River. Easy to use, great results and didn't seem to be prone to icing up like the others"

"i have hunted with the walnut version for 3 years and it sounds like a goose and it works. im not real easy on equipment in all fairness, but i thought it should have held up better. after the finish wore off and got wet multiple times it just gave up.it wont even blow right."

"This call is very easy to blow and break over for realistic honks clucks and moans. It is a little sensitive to high pressure and will freeze up if you get too aggressive with your blowing. Overall it is a very good call for the money and will get many a goose killed."

"to be honest i though this call would sound terrible. my dad purchased one and from the sound of it i didnt like it. I received one for christmas and i stareted blowing on it and i loved it. easy to blow, many differnt varieties of calls can be produced from this call, and it sounds great. I guess my father just needs some extra practice!"

"You can spend a $150 on a goose call and you won't kill any more birds than you do with this one. Flutes may be going the way of the dinosaur but as long as I have this on my lanyard I know that I can turn birds. I just hunted this morning with this call and it was well below freezing and the call worked like it did in early September. Doesn't take a lot of air to blow and you can produce everything from loud hail calls to low mummurs."
