"I received the mojo duck in good shape and charged the battery right away. The next day I tested the mojo and it worked fine. About 4 months latter on the opening day of duck season I took it out into the field and it did not work, no matter what I tried. Took it home that night re-charged the battery over night and still would not work. After reading the instructions I determined that it needed to be reprogrammed and that when the confusion began. The first step was to press the re-set button and watch the led lights. NO LED LIGHTS ON THE MOJO. After much frustration I tried to reprogram according to the clicking sounds and low and behold it worked. Please change the re-programing directions or provide LED lights on the units.
On the next day of hunting the mojo worked great."

"Works well with no real problems. Sometimes at a longer distance the decoy will not respond to the remote with the decoy facing you. Must have antenna wire out of decoy to respond. Very nice item, but a bit pricey.."

"This thing is awesome. It's a bird magnet it can draw them in from a long way out. I love the remote because I can turn it on from the blind as it gets closer to shooting light that way I don't use my battery up. Then I can turn it off when birds stop flying. it's great!!!"

"Had heard alot of good things so me and a hunting buddy decided we needed one, just tried it the other day and we were just amazed. The ducks came in alot closer then usual and alot more offen. Alot of the time we hardly even used are calls we didnt have time we were so busy shooting! We had it running for a total of about 5-6 hours without any problems, worked great!!"

"I picked up a second Mojo Mallard with remote for our last hunting trip. The remote really gives you chance to pull in "spinner savy" ducks. It's amazing watching ducks work this decoy. On the second day of our trip, we had a hen fly in to check out the Mojo. She decided to land after we shut it off with the remote, bringing about 200 of her friends with her! I would definitly recommend the factory installed, save the time of buying one later."

"This decoy was the most frustrating hunting purchase I have ever experienced. The first box was sent with damaged wings. The next decoy with the remote would not stay on for more than 30 minutes. After repeated attempts to keep it going over a 2 hour period, it finally died. The on/off button underneath broke, also. I sent it back for another decoy. The next decoy did the same thing and stopped during the hunt on 2 different days of trials. I talked to one of my duck club members and he experienced the same thing. This decoy is going back tomorrow. I would not recommend this Mojo with remote to anyone, unless they want to use if for target practice. The manufacturer, MOJO Outdoors™ by HuntWise, needs to get their "ducks in line" and re-design."

"I have had good luck with my Drake Mojo remote control decoy. The action of the wings really seems to attract wary mallards. I think the Mojo is especially good when there is fog or rain... the birds fly lower and come right in. Mallards as well as other species have swooped right over my Mojo and presented some great shooting opportunities. I think the Mojo has also attracted some geese to my decoy spread as well.

Great Duck - Poor Remote,December 19, 2006

"Just received my Mojo Duck with factory installed remote last Thursday. Paid extra money to have it shipped 3-day guarantee so it would be here last Friday as my son and I both took a day of vacation to go duck hunting. When the Mojo arrived it appeared to work OK. Friday morning we took it hunting and it ran for about 10 minutes and shut down. Remote would not start it again. Took it down for the rest of the hunt and was very upset that I paid the extra money for express shipping only to find out the Mojo duck did not work on our hunt. Money out of my pocket completely wasted.
After our hunt I read on Mojo website how to reprogram the remote. I hunted with it Saturday & Sunday. The duck kept shutting off and I had to continue reprogramming the remote. Sometimes it would work for 15 - 20 minutes and sometimes for two hours. Finally I bypassed the remote and ran it in the continous mode. In the continous mode everything worked fine for hours at a time. Called the company and they said they are having a lot of problems with their new style remote. They were very polite and said as soon as they figure the problem out they will be coming out with a new style remote and will send me one. Duck season in Nebraska will probably be over by the time I receive the new remote. Other than the remote problem the duck seems to work good and looks great. I would suggest not spending your money or Christmas gift cards on the Mojo spinning wing duck decoy until they come out with their new style remote. Hopefully they will test the new remote control devices better and get the bugs worked out before sending them out to their customers."

"On the first day of use the decoy stopped spinning several times during the hunt and had to be restarted. The second day was a repeat of the same problem. An email to the manufacturer wasn't much help. By the fourth morning it stopped and could not be restarted. I returned the decoy and purchased a non remote model."

"This is one of the best things i have ever bought. I used to hunt on a small river and it was more of a get out and enjoy the peace and quiet until I bought one of these. Ducks are just a lot more confident to land in your decoys. Also one important thing is get one with a remote so you can turn it off frrom the blind. Get one of these, you will not be sorry."

"I've tried the others, now I wanted the best. It looks great and it worked great the first couple of outings. On one outing the decoy kept shutting of after 3 minutes(remote malfunction)then finally shut itself off becoming useless the rest of the morning. Since we're in the middle of duck season, I just bypassed the remote and use on/off switch. The remote has/is a circuit board so i don't know if rain, water, my ruffness broke it,or what happened. I wished it had a 3 way switch so it can be used when remote fails. I'm sure Mojo will make it right as soon as I send it back."

"I have purchased two of this brand product and the on/off switch has failed in both. It seems to be a defect in this product line because I have several friends that have had the same issue in the same brand. The company will stand behind it but, who needs the hassel of return and wait.
