even me, a first time hunter got bird with this!,

"yesterday i got my papers, my gun and my shells and took my gear out duck hunting. first time ever as i dont have any mentors. a flock flew over my whole 6 decoys and i shot my 20 ga with a cabelas hevi shot modified choke for the first time at a living bird. that quacker took a hit on his left side and came down in the water so i went in and got him myself. i dont have a dog and my guineapig hates water.
this choke shoots good patterms and is perfect for my 20 ga mossberg 500c. i know my gun isnt the best and its cheap but i took 2 birds yesterday trying to teach myself to hunt ducks so i can only attest it to this wonderful choke by cabelas.
i hsot about half a box of shells and took 2 birds my first day out all alone with my 6 decoys and a duck call + my trusty mossberg 20. i know it wasnt my "skills" and it was not "experience" and probably not the high quality cheap gun so i can only blame the choke i bought a week earlier here.

Mod for Invector Plus Browning Gold,

"Looks like very nicely build choke (if not a Cabela's sign- could not say apart from Carlson chokes) with good pattern out of my Browning Gold hunter :KENT FAST steel and Remington Nitro-Steel. Sign on the choke ia a little misleading: it says MOD for Hevi-Shot, Steel Shot, etc.... The patten board showed that it shoots as FULL for Kent Steel Shot and Remington Steel -nod MOD. I will buy IMP CYL next time to shoot MOD in steel. Looks like it patterned KENT BB better then Black Cloud... but it might be my gun only."

"This choke works like a dream. The only problem I had was it came loose after 5 shots. I tightened it up and hasn't been a problem since. Fits my SBEII just fine."

"This choke tube patterns better than others I have tried at 3 times the cost. I shoot 3" remington HD #4s out of a Remington 870 with this tube and it patterns very very tight. I shot a Tom at 40 yards and he had more than 20 holes in his head alone. All I can say is WOW!"

"I have a 3.5" Beretta Xtrema and the tightest choke supplied with the gun is FULL. I had killed turkey's with that choke in the past but wanted to tighten my pattern even more so I ordered an Extra Full Cabelas Choke Tube for Hevi Shot. After patterning it against my Beretta Full Choke I was disappointed that the pattern wasn't as tight or consistent and I was using Hevi Shot so I returned it. Cabelas is a great company to deal with, I buy 95%+ of my hunting and fishing gear from them but this product was a disappointment for me."

"I shoot a mossburg 500 20 ga. for turkey, got a good pattern with factory super full turkey choke. Like any good hunter I wanted a better patttern. This choke gave it to me. At 40 yds. I had at least 5 pellets in the HEAD!, not just the kill zone! in every one of five shots. I have not had a shot at the real thing with this set-up yet, but when I do, I am confident Tommy-boy is going down on the spot."

"Bought this choke for my dad, and it patterns really good out of his nova 12 ga. it patterned better with bb than #2's. going on a snow goose hunt in two weeks, we'll see how it does compared to my carlson extended steel shot choke, which is pretty much the same choke."

"Haven't yet patterned it but its effective in the field with hevi shot. Killed two ducks dead at about 50 yards. Unbeatable combo for late season wary ducks. Will be ordering a modified for next season. Last star pending a pattern test."

"This is the best Turkey choke I have ever used I have killed many turkeys with it but one story really sticks in my mind. I killed a turkey in full strut at 45 yards on the spot and it never moved it was one of the most impressive shots I have ever seen."

"i bought several of these in different chokes after one day while turkey hunting [fall] i could have jump shot some ducks if i had been properly equiped , i had lead shot and a super full choke which would not shoot water fowl shot . now i carry a superfull ,improved and modified with heavy 13 when i turkey hunt so i've got my bases covered , ihave used the modified pheasant hunting and was satisfied with it , i like the knurled end for hand removal in the field"
