"I love it. My stoeger 2000 fits perfectly with 28"barrel, extended choke tube and simms limbsaver butt pad. I like being able to adjust the length of the case to accomadate different gun sizes. If your worried about your shotgun fitting in a floating case this one has plenty of room. Don't know if it floats and hope I dont have to find out. It has good padding and keeps the water off of your gun. Would definitly recommend to someone."

"Very good quality, thick and sturdy materials. My semi-auto Baikal fits nicely. For the price, can't get more!!!! Wonder what the side pocket is for. Of course, I haven't tried trowing it in the river with my gun to see if it really floats...."

"This is a nice case but I must say the quality in my eyes is lacking. My dad has an Avery floating case and my brother a Mad Dog and both are better quality, especially the Mad Dog which is 100% waterproof. Overall however a nice case, just think it could be a bit more "sturdy" and totally waterproof!"

"Just like all Cabela's products, I recommend this to other's as well. I have a Benelli SBE2 with a 28" barrel and this case holds it just fine. I really like the sheath style (no zippers to break or catch things on. It also has a nice little velcro pouch for storing extra shells or choke tubes."

"I purchased two of these cases for my Benelli Supersport and Benelli Cordoba. Both shotguns have 30 inch barrels with extended chokes. I wasn’t sure they would fit until I saw how these were made. I do expect that they would float but they would not be “water proof”. They have two Velcro closures one that extends down about 10 inches along the bottom seam to the open end, the other closes the bottom after you fold it over. The nice thing about this case is its ability to adjust to a number of barrel lengths."

"This case might float if I drop it in the water but it you are a waterfowler and hunt in the rain, I do not recommend this case. When I hunt in the rain and put my gun in the case for the ride home, the case will stay wet for days to come after. I pull my Benelli out right when I get home but if I want to go hunting a couple of days later, the case is not dryed out due to the case only opening at the very end. I am going to try a floating case that zippers up.... that is what all my friends purchased at the same time I purchased this one and their cases dry out right away. Maybe if you don't care about your 870 or something it might be a great case."

"I recently purchased the cabela's floating sheath case before I left for duck hunting trip to North Dakota. While out on the water I accidently dropped the case and gun in the water. When I retrieved the case and opened it up to my surprise the gun was as dry as a bone. Not only did the case float but it also kept my gun dry. The sling attached to the case makes wading in the water while carrying other gear a breeze."
