"This bag was a heck of a price and even though it is not the one I expected it is okay. My nephew has one that is made of a heavier material and with more pockets, I should have done more research. One of the pearls of buying on line.
It is roomy with a nice closure for the top and super nice side pockets. It has worked well this fall but I will still up grade to the style my nephew has if I can find it."

"Awesome pack. Very simple design, well constructed. Mine came with an Hydration pouch. This feature is not listed in the product description. I bought the Hydration insert separately, nice to have. I used this pack with the Alaskan Frame to pack out two mule deer this season."

"I recently decided to try and turn myself young again! After many years of injury and and weight issues, I decided this year I would get back to the days when I used to trek back country on any whim. I have had the frame system for a couple of years for packing out elk & deer, so I figured a cheap way to get a great pack was to simply add the pack to my frame and glad I did! Already over 30 miles on my back and working well! I have an 11 day backcountry trek planned for June of 09 and this will hold my needs and be supported on a great frame!

"This product has filled the need I had. It fit very well on a frame I had and carries what I need with deep side pocket that have easy excess. I like the internal pocket that runs deep for securing delicate items, spoting scope, against the back of the frame and then cusioned by other items in the pack. Very happy with the pack.
