"I used this pack cover on a 3 day hiking trip in Vermont in November. I have an older internal frame pack that is pretty big and the cover fit it perfect. The ony thing that keeps this from 5 stars is that where one of the grommets is there's a little rip. I would recommend this!!!"

"Works well. Large enough to fit over a large pack (Alaskan Outfitter external frame pack), even with additional items strapped on outside the pack. Draw string makes it quick & easy to put on & take off."

"I have found this cover highly useful. I ride a motorcycle, and I use it on my backpack to both make myself more visible to other trafic and to keep my pack dry during rainy weather. The cover also works well on my field pack."

"I used the pack cover on a 6 day pack trip into the Rockies. We had weather from all ends of the spectrum. The only thing that stayed completely dry was my pack. I tied the pack cover on and leaned it against a tree with the pack cover facing the weather. The only thing I had with me that was dry was my pack and the gear inside. Leaving the cover on while away helped me locate camp even in the nastiest snow conditions. Highly visbile and waterproof. I don't know how well it would hold up bushwacking through the briars, but it served its purpose for me."

"It held up well under rain and field conditions. I bought two. One for myself and Dad. Dad has a external frame pack, larger than mine. It fit snug over his but his cover developed a rip in it after two days in Montana's Bob Marshall Wilderness where it snowed/hailed/rained on us for all but one day we were there. Under the conditions this is a good product for the money."

Almost waterproof,

"This is a very good pack cover. It is large -- big for my pack but I wanted the blaze orange color. Made from waterproof material, but the sewing process makes holes and the seams are not taped. When you buy this cover, have some goop ready to seal the seams."

"I bought this pack cover simply for safety while big game hunting. Few packs come in blaze orange. The more orange the better for safety. The product description should include the size. This product covers the large Cabela's Alaskan frame and pack."

"cover is a little hard to put on my pack, but it is water proof. kind of difficult to get into the pack after the cover is on. All around a good product, just no good for every pack."

"Pucrhased this cover to go with an Alaskan pack I bought for a mountain goat hunt here in Montana. The cover is of high quality, fits well and gives you the flexibility to cover smaller loads to a fully loaded pack frame and bag. Good value for the dolar and a must have for extended trips where moisture is a possibility."
