"I was a little bit worried about this jacket when I first took it out of the box. I put it on and it weighed quite a bit. It seemed bulky. Then I went out on a cold snowy day when it was blowing and I felt so warm and comfortable. Love it!! 4 stars because of the bulk but I still love it."

"The first thing you'll notice is how heavy this jacket is. Make sure you have a heavy duty clothes hanger. However, this jacket is surprisingly and incredibly warm. I wore it out in single digit weather with only a henley underneath and I stayed very warm. As a lot of other purchasers of this jacket have commented . . . the hood is very stiff and makes driving with the jacket on a bit cumbersome. However, the hood is very effective against cold weather. Finally, the cut of the jacket is a bit on the small side. I'm glad I ordered the "tall". Overall, this jacket is well constructed and should last quite a while. A very good value !"

"I got this jacket in a Tall as I'm 6'1 and my wingspan is 6'3. The Tall was a great choice and the jacket fits great. The only draw back is the hood feels like it rides up on your neck and doesn't sit back. The zipper also doesn't come up high enough to fully cover your neck. This lets some cold air in. Other than these two issues the jacket is 4 out of 5 stars."

"Wore this jacket oudside last weekend while rebuilding the carburetor on a snowblower. Temp was mid teens with a crisp NW wind, wind chill around 5 degrees. I didn't even notice the cold, this jacket is warm and comfortable but not bulky. I was pleasantly surprised at how well it handled the wind. Very good product, like it says, good for work and play.
Oh yeah, it wasn't my snowblower..."

"This is the second Roughneck jacket I bought from Cabelas. It is very warm, comfortable and looks great. I am still wearing the first jacket but after more than 5 years of wearing it almost daily for working around the farm, it is wearing out and the fabric is starting to get small holes in it around where my hands come out of the sleeves. I have no complaints about the durability. The new jacket is almost too nice to use for dirty jobs so the old one will still be good for working on the tractor or other messy jobs. If you need a rugged and warm jacket that will keep you warm in the coldest weather, this jacket is worth buying."
