"Nice belt - great with Khakis or dress slacks. It really isn't what I think of as lined. It is dyed raw leather on the back side. Not what I think of as lined."

"bought 2 36" range belts.Both belts are undersized.Very undersized.Can't wear 1 ,way too small. Size is not 36".Can't even get it to the first belt hole."

"to start I had ordered a black leather dress belt.
The construction of the belt was good but after the first time I wore it the Black finish started flaking off, leaving brown splotches in various places on the exterior of the leather.
It appeared that the natural color of the leather was light brown and then simpley sprayed with black paint.
Putting the belt on caused the black coloring to flake off at all the belt loops on the pants."

"The stitching that held the buckle on the belt failed after the fourth time I wore the belt.
When I received the replacement belt, I noticed a similar problem developing with associated stiching. I glued it."

"I had always liked this style of belt and have had similar systems on some of my pistol holsters. This belt is hard to fasten and is already begining to breakdown in the buckle eyehole area. I will not be purchasing another."

"This current product is very poor in quality. I have had to replace 2 of 3 of these Ranger dress belts in the last year. At first I thought it was an exception. My previous two Ranger dress belts lasted over 8 years with minimal wear and tear. Two of the last 3 belts I have pruchased all have worn through at the adjustment holes within 2 months of purchase. I use these belts with dress slack in an office environment with very light use. Cabelas needs to replace thier vendor for this item if they wish to maintain a quality product."

"Why with all of the ability and quality that Cabelas has to produce great products, can't a higher quality belt be produced? I have a ranger belt that I purchased ten years ago from Cabelas that looks better and is more supple than the new product. It is holding the finish much better. This product is not lined as advertised."

Lined Dress Ranger Belt Poor Quality,

"The belt is very poor quality. The leather quality is so bad it could be only described as better than cardboard. The hole that takes the buckle tang elongated and tore after a single days wearing. I wore the belt a total of 8 day. I am a pilot and took it for wear with my uniform during an 8 day trip. The best that could be said is my uniform trousers did not actually fall to my ankles.
Also, during that time one of the loops that takes the belt tip came off, and the decorative stitching came unbound.
I need a dress belt that is also rugged for work. This belt did not come close to meeting that specification.

"I have bought several belts from Cabela's in the past and have been completely satisfied. This latest purchase has not lived up to your usual quality. In fact, I have considered returning the item, but simply did not want to endure the hassle. The belt's overall quality is satisfactory. However, the section with the buckle holes has already worn and frayed to the point that I fear it will break off at some time. I have a similar black belt from your store and it has served me well, showing no signs of similar wear."
