"This is the second pair of Irish Setter boots that I own. These are the most comfortable boots I have ever owned. The Quality of workmanship is supurb. They DON'T LEAK. They are insulated enough for indoor/outdoor wear.
I would definitley buy them again."

"I am on my feet all day and needed something light and comfortable, and the Kangaroo Chukka was the right choice. The only drawback is that they can be slippery on wet floors.
I highly recommend this product"

OK, but definitely not Red Wings,

"I have worn these boots four about 3 months and they are ok, but I should have spent the extra money and bought Red Wings instead.
The pros are that this boot is very light, seems waterproof, and works well in an office setting or out walking a trail.
The Cons:
1) the laces constantly come untied unless you double knot them
2) The amount of carbon in the soles conducts electricity unlike any boot I have ever seen before. I have never gotten shocked as much through static electricity in my entire lifetime as I have while wearing this boot. I actually have to shut my truck door using the window to avoid a nasty shock.
3)The arch support is just plain bad. I had to buy $90.00 arch supports to mimic the type of arch support that Red Wing shoes come built with. I could have actually saved money and purchased a good pair of Red Wings after the cost of a good pair of insoles.
4)The sole just isnt thick enough to make standing around all day comfortable. Buy these for looks and the light weight, but dont buy them for all day comfort.
In the end I realized that the decision to purchase these instead of a pair from their more expensive sister company Red Wing was a mistake. I couldnt justify the price of a pair of Red Wings, but I could have saved myself a bit of money and purchased a cheaper boot that would probably be more comfortable and supportive than these. Yes it has gore-tex, yes it has kangaroo leather, but those additions are so minimal to the overall build of the boot, its really not worth the price."

"Great shoes; perfectly waterproof. Great looking. My wife likes them so much she asked me to wear them to an "upscale" restaurant recently. The leather is really tough and takes quite a bit of wear to break in. I still have a little difficulty with the collar biting a little around the ankle. Otherwise, these boots are constructed very carefully. the craftsmanship is apparent at first glance. My son has had a pair for about five (5) years and the leathers shows no sign of serious wear except for scuffing. He wears these boots for upland game hunting and other outdoors activities all the time. That's why I got a pair. Well worth the money."

"This is an excellence shoe, I ordered it twice to get the size right. It seems that all of the shoes I ordered or a 1/2 size small so order up 1/2 size. It is a little on the expensive side but I might order it again."

Boots are stiff around the collar,

"One would think that Kangaroo Boots, similar to the Browning Upland boots, would be soft and pliable. Despite their good looking appearance, these boots are stiff and hurt around the collar. I wear a size 11 and the initial shipment were tight in that size. I exchanged them for an 11.5 and despite being roomy enough, the padding around the collar digs into the ankle and they were extremely uncomfortable. After wearing around the house for three days, hoping they would get comfortable, I had to return them and will search for something else."
