"I'm on my second pair of Irish Setter Kangaroo Oxfords and will continue to buy them as long as they are available. They were very comfortable to wear right out of the box, needing no "break-in." I wore the first pair in the office and casually until they started to show their age. They were easy to care for, needing only a little oil and/or cream about twice a year. I'm on my second "dress" pair and now wear the first pair at the gun club and to work around the house. They are still just as comfortable as they were when they were new. And while they now show "a lot of character" they still look."

"Great shoe. Strong, but suprisingly comfortable for a stiff shoe. A little heavy but you should know that when you buy this type of shoe. Sturdiness and foot stability cancel out the extra weight. If you need a sturdy and waterproof oxford that also looks good, then these are the shoes for you....."

"I'm disappointed in the comfort level of my new shoes. the last pair of kangaroo boots I had were like bed room slippers and lasted about 5 years of heavy use. I walk on concrete all day at work and by the end of the day my feet hurt, I tried inserts but that didn't help."

"Have worn my Irish Setter Oxfords for approximately two weeks. I am very pleased with the level of comfort. These shoes required no break-in period. Since I normally wear a size twelve shoe I had to decide between the size twelve and a size thirteen (size 12 1/2 not available). Although Cabela's recommends to order a 1/2 size increase over your normal shoe size, I opted to order my normal shoe size. Glad I did, would have been swimming in a thirteen. The shoes are light in weight and the sole has real gripping power on rough terrain. While the sole material is comfortable, in my opinion it does not appear this composition will last for more than one year of continuous service. Glad these shoe are made with Goodyear Welt construction, sole replacement is then possible.
These shoes are as advertised."

"I have bought 3 pairs of these shoes over almost 3 years, and I will continue as long as I can. They are comfortable and light, and for a guy that has wide feet, they are the best business causual shoes that I have been able to find. The only possible dig that I might have, it the soles tend to wear down a fast, but it could be I where them almost every day."

"I have a deer proccessing shop which requires me to stand on my feet for 12 hours a day. I purchased the Irish Setter Oxford for it comfort and fluid resistance. I have never worn a more comfortable shoe in my life. I know it's not a work shoe but it was for me. They held up through daily exposure to blood and water as I cleaned and proccessed deer. I ordered a second pair to wear everyday. You can go wrong with this shoe. (note: order 1/2 size larger than normal)"

"I still wear the previous version of this shoe, quality has gone down dramatically. The first pair purchased a couple years back felt like a slipper from day one and has held up remarkably well. I just wanted another pair and the new version is heavy, stiff, and seams don't line up well. I should have bought two pairs when I bought the first pair. Next time I find a shoe that I like I'm buying a second pair and putting it in the closet for two years."

"I am really pleased with the overall quality of these shoes. They feel like they will last forever. I only have two minor complaints: the insoles could be a little softer (a gel insert would fix things) and I don't like shoe strings that come untied on their own.
