Nice.....but,January 24, 2009
By dude1951from Central Illinois
"I bought a set of the camo rings to mount a scope on an Encore rifle. Like another reviewer here I found the rings to be a bit more difficult to mount the scope in than the horizontal rings. The quality is excellent and the finish looks great against my Encore rifle...........just a little more difficult to mount."

scope mounting,September 25, 2008
By 1buckfrom Wisconsin
"The installment process is less than desirable. I have a gun cradle that I am used to using for this purpose. The screw mount system with this scope does not allow me to do that. I must lay the gun on it's side in order to accomplish the installation. Would it not be a better idea to have the screws in a vertical position, somewhere near the top of the scope?"

T/C Maxima Scope Rings,August 14, 2008
By Dbarbatofrom Wilmington, DE
"Very solid scope rings. The machining and finish is top-notch and the weight of the pieces lets you know they are high quality. I matched these up with a one-piece base and a Leopold Vari-X II scope on my new Thompson Center Triumph muzzleloader."

Extreme Hold,October 9, 2007
By LeviGWVfrom Clarksburg, WV
"I used them on both the 300 Win Mag and my 25-06, both mounted with Leupold VX-IIIs. They are extremely strong and the weight of the steel let's you know they will hold up to alot of abuse. If you hunt hard or hunt serious, then you need to upgrade to these rings. They are expensive if you are just using them for the average grade rifle, but if you are shooting something like a TC Encore, stick with the best."

"Really happy with the TC Maxima Standard Rings. I took my TC Muzzle Loader barrel to my local gunsmith and had my new Nikon Scope mounted and was on the paper the first time out!"
