"Have not used this for snow,but it is worthless for pushing pea gravel or driveway rock. You spend most of your time backing up to take another run at it. I AM NOT TRYING TO PUSH A MOUNTIAN but just a small pile. I am using it with a Polaris Sportsman 500."

"Instead of snow which doesn't fall abundantly where I live,I've found many opportunities to use my Plow mount,bought to complement the dump bucket functions in a variety of work li-ke leveling ground,filling up holes and ruts,removing thick lay-ers of gravel from alleys,reshaping a garden devastated by heavy downpour:I was involved in just such a case with my jeep stuck in mud ruts.The hard work it took to pull it out,left the garden looking like a battle ground.After several days the rain had subsided and the dirt had slowly turned dry again,it took only a few hours with the plow mount to restore the gar-den which can be used again as a playground.All this was done using a plow mount in front of my 4x4 quad Yamahe Big Bear,without any outside help. It really is very simple to use and performing as expected,no tuning necessary. Very simple also to asemble(detailed instructions),using a good tool kit and some wrenches. Then,it takes a few minutes to mount in front of a quad equipped with a Swisher Acessories mount. With this equipment,no use to turn to anybody for help ,you're on your own and 100 percent ready to tackle very hard dirtwork."

"We live at 7800' in the mtns of NW Colorado - Have rec'd over 200 inches of recorded snow so far this season and still have two months of snow to go !!! This plow is excellent for quickly moving large amounts of snow from driveway and roads at our home. Also purchased the required Swisher mounting system and installed on Honda TRX500FA ATV with a Warn winch. You need some mechanical ability & tools to install and adjust to your particular ATV - Outstanding Design and I'm considering the Swisher mowing system for this summer."

"I have been looking at the swisher system for the last two years since my old plow was getting tired after 9 years of plowing in Alaska. Similar to one of the other customers, I had a tough time getting the spirngs attached to the A-arms and then found the pins were extremely tight and needed to be pounded out and tapered on the ends to pound them back in. The plow skid on one end bent on the first run up my hill and then today the adjusting rod bent today when the corner of the plow caught a low spot in the driveway. The unit looks and feels husky, but in a less then 2 weeks it makes me wonder how it will last.
"In 9 years with my old plow working the same hill I have only had one small repair." The swisher has great clearance, but unless you are staying on paved surfaces you may want to look into a different brand with more durability."

"it was very easy to install. i have only plowed snow twice (thank goodness) but it worked just fine. I am looking for a big snow so I can really plow it. The way you can change the angle of the plow is great. Don't even have to get off the seat. I had to be careful as you can lay the plow right over on the front ATV rack. Excellent clearance."

"In general, I love the plow. It works like a charm on my Arctic cat 500. However!! The instructions were incomplete and confusing. I ended up downloading an updated set from the internet. The installation was not an easy task. In order to mount the push bar to the receiver mount, I had to drill a 3/4" hole in the receiver. Attaching the leaf spring mounts to the A-arms was also no easy task more so due to the boot guards. Once all was attatched, I tried to drop the frame to test the quick disconnect... it didn't work. I pulled the clips but had to pound out the pins to drop the front. And re-attatching was very difficult because the leaf spring mounting holes wouldn't line up. Other than the installation...the plow works great. Great lift height for knocking down banks. The plow falls forward when you strike a fixed object or ice chunks. Rise and fall time with the winch...no more than 2 seconds. Changing the angle of the plow is quick and easy right from your seat."
